The Kebab Shop — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Visited TKS and got a wrap and a bowl with lamb. They show the protein bowl as coming with hummus for the base price, and you can upgrade from chicken to other meats for a price. Yet when i went to complete the order, it asked me if i want to add hummus. I asked the staff why the menu shows that it comes with hummus, but then you find out you have to pay extra for it since it's not included. The staff said "that's just the way they designed their menu." Not a very good explanation. That seems like false advertising.

The food came out and i was a bit surprised by how small of portions of meat were on the plate and especially in the wrap. Inside of the wrap there was just a few small shavings of lamb and it was basically 95% salad. Not at all like how it was pictured on the menu or on advertisements where they seem like they are overflowing with meat. My entire meal cost almost $35 and i got basically a cup of meat total. I would not say that was worth it. At least the staff was cool enough to provide a bunch of sauces. This is my new favorite spot; The Kebab shop in Glendale, CA. The food has amazing Mediterranean flavors! My go to order is the Crave fries with a Pistachio Baklava for desert. The Crave fries are the best fries I’ve ever had fries are always fresh and crispy never soggy. They are topped with their famous and delicious garlic yogurt dip, feta cheese, pickled onions, and mint sprinkles. You gotta give them a try! You will crave them! The Pistachio Baklava is the perfect kick of sweetness at the end and comes in a container so you can take the rest home and snack later. I also love the atmosphere it’s always fresh and clean, nice and cool A/C perfect to come in on a summer day. Bonus! They have a good music playlist which you can add on Spotify.
