Jamba Juice is amazing; however, the employees here are extremely young, unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. And to be honest I literally have no clue why. I donāt know if itās the stress of the job, if theyāre so bored they want to start conflict with customers, or if itās because Iām Black. Itās just a very toxic place. I guess I was ordering Pumpkin Smash too much? One day they stopped serving it and I asked for a refund. Instead of giving me a receipt showing that the transaction was voided or refunded the manager (she said sheās the GM) gave me a very hard time. I didnāt want to assume I would get my money back and if I didnāt I would have to return to the store and argue I didnāt receive a refund with no proof of receipt. I donāt think that was rude of me as a customer to want a receipt⦠thatās why they make receipts. I waited 45 mins to a hr for a receipt. The employees were laughing and saying things and I just couldnāt understand why the situation was funny or had to be hostile. I just wanted a refund. It was easy for me to leave and get my drink at another JJ. No reason to be mad. I guess they wanted entertainment to make their shift better Iām truly not sure why. Then I return months later hoping things would be different. I purchased a pumpkin smash. Minutes after purchasing the same GM states, āwe ran out of 2% milk.ā (In my head⦠really? Lol Jesus, is she that upset) but I didnāt argue I just asked for a refund and got my drink at another JJ. Today, I purchased the pumpkin smash and the employee (Anto, who was one of the employees laughing in the prior incident) makes my order into water. Me: (extremely polite not even realizing this is one of the unprofessional employees). Hi itās a little watery can I have it a little thicker. A customer in the store: I knew you werenāt going to like that. It looks watery. Employee Anto: Oh. You want it thicker? Me: Yes please. Employee Anto: Oh next time you need to specify that. The other customer and I looked at each other in disbelief!! (In my head⦠is it something in the air in this place!) but I didnāt argue. I literally just asked for a refund. Thereās literally no point in me arguing with a 13 year old boy. I say that in the most frustrated respectful way because I literally have no idea what Iāve ever done besides order a Pumpkin Smash. This is ridiculous lol I literally have no idea besides being black. As a GM you cannot create a hostile work environment, train and teach employees to be rude and unprofessional especially when theyāre still growing into adults⦠you arenāt helping them. Itās just sad. But through all the nasty treatment Iāve received at this Jamba Juice I wish you the best to the manager and Anto. The Pumpkin Smash I received at the JJ on Glendale was amazing :) Ps. Ya'll be careful dealing with employees like this. Best thing is to do, get your refund and run! They are looking for entertainment but they're not worth it as there are 50000 Jamba Juices. Laugh at them, get your JJ somewhere else and sip it with joy...

Both times they did not have their Acai bowl available as they did not have any of the toppings available for the Primo. Today was no different, no toppings again so my daughter opted for a smoothie and ordered a Mango-a-go-go. The attendant agreed and proceeded to "make" the smoothie. By the time we got our order, I noticed a note on the side saying that they "do not have the "Classic Smoothies" available ONLY the plant based and that's when I noticed that the smoothie that my daughter ordered falls under the Classic Smoothies. I didn't pay much attention to it anymore since I figured that if she agreed to do it that maybe we got lucky and that it was available at the time that we ordered. Boy was I wrong, when we got to our car and my daughter started to take a sip, she noticed that the smoothie did not taste the same as it normally would. It tasted bland and sour at most. So that was disappointing! Not to mention how rude and frustrating how my daughter was treated. Absolutely lacking any courtesy and/or customer service at this location. No greeting when we walked in, not even a fake smile and the lady was arguing with my daughter that she had ordered a "pretzel" instead of the "waffle" that she had originally said and ordered. I know, I was there, I heard her say sweet waffle because she asked me if I wanted any and I said yes get me one too. But the lady kept insisting that my daughter said pretzel. I mean can you just place the order for sweet waffle instead of arguing and insisting that we ordered pretzel. There were only 3 items in the display case and none of the pretzel options said SWEET in them only the SWEET WAFFLE! I will NOT come back here as both of our experiences here are subpar and not very pleasant. Two guests ahead of me in line placing orders. 10 mins wait to just get to the counter to place the order. Still okay. Placed the order and waited. Now, the fun begins- After I placed the order and steped aside to wait, two more people also successfully placed orders and stepped aside. After this, a line started piling up at the cashier who was not attended to for the next 25 mins, not one order accepted and anxious customers waiting to understand whats happening. On the other side, I am confused since my drink has still not arrived. Two guests before me left with their drinks and the two after me left with theirs. After realizing this, I asked one of the server about my order, seemingly she was already overwhelmed looking at the line and without even asking any details about my order, she told me "Sir, its very busy and you need to wait for your order!" This triggered and I asked the other server about my drink, he realized it was left aside to prepare and somehow dropped from the sequence of their order processing. The guy says "My bad!" Then resumed making my order and halfway passed it on to the first server to deliver to me. When it was ready, the first server just pushed the drink to me on the counter with a very sadistic look as if she has now given me half her property and done a big favor on me. Meanwhile, 30 mins down not one order placed and the line has some 12 ppl waiting, some patiently waiting while some left.
