I went there with my husband and son and we were extremely disappointed. Our family have been going to the Pizza Cookery since 1997 when my husband and I were dating until now. This restaurant was our families very favorite and special place to dine at. The employees all the way to the owners were always kind and very attentive. The prices were very reasonable as well and the quality and quantity of the food was excellent. This last visit left our family in complete shock starting with the service and ending with the meal itself. Let me say first off I was a bit taken back at the way they now only allow 2 garlic rolls per person and I'm not exaggerating they actually brought out a bread basket with 3 rolls and upon asking for more we were told the second basket was of no charge but any additional rolls we would be charged at 6 for $5 or 12 for $10 which is ridiculous considering they were never like that, the rolls were always brought free throughout your dinning experience and my husband noticed that the young couple sitting across from us received a bread basket with about four garlic rolls in it and then the waitress brought them another basket when they asked and she never mentioned anything about the two rolls per person without charge to them. The prices for the family meal went up drastically and the quantity for the family pasta was extremely smaller then what they used to serve, we used to go with around 8 people to dine and everyone could eat the salad, pizza and pasta and we had leftovers to go home and this visit we ordered the large family meal and my husband and son ate a plate (average size) of pasta and there was about 1 plate of pasta left. The salad was amazing and the pizza was delicious but it was a bit greasy. Our server at first was not very friendly and seemed annoyed when I would ask her about the prices and portions in the family meals and was way more attentive to the two other tables that had customers dinning but then as she began to serve us she became a bit more friendly. I would like to say that we have very happy and found memories of this restaurant and it breaks my heart that it has been reduced to what it is now,it used to be a warm and friendly place that felt more like family to our family and now it is just a business for profit that doesn't seem at all family oriented anymore, this truly saddened...

On my last visit to The Pizza Cookery, the rolls were great, the mushroom salad was very satisfying, and the pizza was fantastic. The food here is constantly delicious.
The server we had definitely has the human touch. She is a terrific server that runs around doing it all, but it doesn't prevent her from providing a wonderful dining experience, all with a smile. And, every time I'm here someone comes to our table to make sure everything is up to par. This place is run by a good group of people.
EXPERIENCE 2 (Positive)
I came back to The Pizza Cookery for some needed nourishment. The complimentary garlic and cheese rolls are worth the visit alone. Again, I ordered the small Cookery Works Pizza with the original crust. However, this time I wanted to add a little veg, so I ordered one of my favorite meaty salads. Our Famous Antipasto Salad is loaded with meat & cheese. It's meaty, it's cheesy, it's garbanzo-beany!
As always the service was fantastic. The server was friendly, attentive, and did a great job.

The garlic and cheese rolls are a delicious way to begin your meal. I also had the Cookery Works Pizza with the original crust. The base of the crust is just thick enough to hold all the toppings, and the edges are nicely browned. Overall the pizza is fantastic. And, for any cold pizza fans. This pizza tastes especially good as a leftover right out of the fridge.
Service here is very attentive. The gentleman serving my table made multiple inquiries to make sure everything was satisfactory. And, I noticed everyone dining received the same treatment. This is a great place to enjoy...
Read more1st things 1st is the atmosphere here, It's just so nice to be in be in. And the wood chippings on the floor that make it easier to clean up for the staff even add their own little hint of personality. However I know most people don't care about the personality of the places they eat at, so let's get right into the food. This place has amazing appetizer bread rolls that they give you for free. I love them to death and I would come here and pay just to eat those. Their warm, their soft, they have a nice cheesy garlic inside, and a great whipped butter that they serve it with. Additionally the other items on their menu are delicious, I'm particularly fond of the anti pasta salad with Italian dressing, It's very good. As for the namesake of the Restaurant, The pizza is fantastic. The cheese is great, the pepperoni is amazing, the sausage feels great, and the mushroom is some of the only mushroom that I actually enjoy on a pizza. I think my only complaint about this place is that sometimes the servers can be a bit slow and forgetful, and it's kind of hard to get the chili flakes out of their shaker. Additionally they implemented a new rule where you have to ask for parmesan cheese, and a straw (thanks California) which I'm not very fond of, however this place is still one of my most favorite places to go for a...
