On May 9th, 2020 I Pre-Scheduled A Delivery For 10am Sunday May 10th, 2020 As A Mother’s Day Surprise Through Door Dash. I Ordered The Breakfast Family Feast With French Toast With 4 Orders Of Eggs, Bacon, French Toast, And Added Additional Add Ons Of 4 Hash Browns And 2 Orders Of Specialty Pancakes (Captain Crunch And Cinnamon Toast Crunch) . The Ordered Was Confirmed At 9am The Day Of The Scheduled Delivery. 3 Hours Went By And The Door Dasher Was Still Waiting At The Restaurant Full Of Other Patrons Also Waiting For Orders. Which Is Violating City Social Distancing Guidelines Of Only 10 People Max In An Enclosed Environment As Well As Not Standing 6 Feet Apart From One Another. (He Sent Me Pictures As Proof) I Attempted To Reach Out To The Restaurant For 3 Hours And The Phone Rang As Busy. Finally At 1:10pm The Order Was Delivered With Not Even Half Of The Food . Only 4 Orders Of Hash Browns And 2 Regular Pancakes. (I Also Have Pictures As Proof) Your Granada Hills, California Store Was Under Staffed, Ill Equipped For One Of The Busiest Days Of The Year, They Had No Structure On How To Execute Their Orders And Pick Ups While Following City Guidelines. I Know For A Fact It Was IHOP’s Fault For Everything That Went Wrong Today Because I Was In Close Communication With The Door Dasher. It Is Completely Unacceptable For Your Company To Offer Prescheduled Delivery And Ordering And Not Supply The Restaurant With Sufficient Staff To Deliver What Is Promised At The Time It Is Promised. In Addition For The Order To Finally Be Delivered 3 Hours Later With Not Even Half The Food I Paid For, Leaving Paying Customers In The Dark, Without Any Way To Reach Out To Customer Service, The Restaurant Not Answering Their Phones, All Corporate Offices Closed, Your Company Has Showed Zero Regard For It’s Customers And Has Only Taken Our Money, Ruined Our Day And Left Us Disrespected And Put All Those Patrons And Employees At Risk. This Is A Very Serious Incident That Needs Your Full Attention And I Plan To Do All I Can For Corporate To Pay Attention. I Am Reaching Out To You Directly, I Am Posting This And All The Pictures To Yelp, Google And My Social Medias To Be Shared . I Expect A Response From Corporate And An Answer On How They Will Improve Their Business. I Expect My Money To Be Reimbursed Fully. I Am Contacting The Better Business Bureau To Ensure This Complaint Is Taken Seriously. As Well As Contacting The City For Your Establishment Violating City Guidelines. This Location And Im Sure Many Others Need Severe Attention And To Be Investigated On How They Are Running Business. I Do Not Plan To Ever Do Business With Any Of Your Establishments Ever Again As Well As Any Of My Family And Friends. You Have Proved To Me Through This Insanely Disrespectful Incident That You Do Not Care About Your Business Or Patrons. I Will Spread The World To Everyone I Know And Through My Social Media To Avoid Your Company Completely And Support Local Establishments Instead. Patrons Are Everything To A Business, There Is No Reason Why I Cannot Be Assisted Right Away And Instead Have To Go Out Of My Way To Find A Way To Email You And Resort To Social Media. It Is Clear We Are Not Of Value To You, So Excuse Us As We Make Our Way To Another Business That Will Deliver What They Promise, When They Promise, And Most Importantly Care About Our Business...
Read moreDate of Visit: October 17, around 10 AM Party Size: 9 My group and I have been regulars at this IHOP for a long time, but today’s visit was really disappointing. Service started off normal our server was a little rude, but nothing we couldn’t overlook. The real issue came after we finished eating. No one ever brought us our check. It seemed like our server had already left, and even when one of us got up to ask for the bill, we were completely ignored. Eventually, we all went up front to pay, and it was chaos. The staff seemed confused and unorganized. A woman named Carina came to handle the check and claimed to be the manager. When we asked to split the bill (something we’ve always been able to do here), she flat-out said they “don’t do that anymore.” We politely explained that every other time we’ve visited, they’ve split our checks without any issue. Instead of helping or even explaining kindly, she got irritated, said, “Well, I can’t do anything about it, I’m the manager,” and told us we had to pay the full bill together. Her attitude was unprofessional, and the way she handled the situation was unnecessarily rude. On top of that, I know who the actual manager is and it definitely wasn’t her. Lying to customers and refusing simple requests isn’t good service. This visit just left a bad impression. I hope IHOP looks into this, because having employees who are dishonest and disrespectful just drives customers away. Also, for anyone planning to visit apparently, they no longer split bills here, so keep...
Read moreThey were extremely busy on labor day weekend, but they were most efficient in seating us in a timely matter. Although it was hectic, the servers remained cheerful and friendly. I was so surprised our food came so quickly and still tasted pretty good, considering how busy they were. I noticed from the kitchen staff, to the servers and the manager that they all worked together to keep the restaurant running like a fine tuned machine. One caveat, my nutella crepes tasted okay but the appearance looked sloppy. Other than that all our other breakfast meals were fine.
Update: I ate breakfast here last week and was disappointed with the service and food. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and requested to replace the ham with spinach instead, as I do not eat meat. They said yes they could do that. When my order came it came with ham and spinach and no egg. I understand the confusion but I felt insulted when the waitress placed the error on me and said, “YOU ordered no egg!” They took the order back and brought back another dish. It was the worse eggs benedict I ever ate. I wasn’t sure if they were just angry that I had sent the first plate back. The eggs were runny and barely cooked, and I know how a poached egg should be prepared. The hollandaise sauce was thick and lumpy and the english muffin soggy. I was really hungry and couldn’t even finish it. I think when eating here to stick with the basic eggs...
