I have gone to many places like this in the valley and in north OC for my kid and this one is by far not good. The place is so dirty and it looks like the floors have not been clean in months. You can actually see the black dirt and smudges all over the floor. Each town section has toys inside but majority of the toys are broken, all over the place, or not enough toys for that specific category. If they have a game machine inside their little shop itâs most likely broken. They have so many bikes and cars and electric cars in the middle but not enough space for kids to ride them. All the electric cars were dead or broken. Not one worked and none of the children were able to use them. In the corners or in between little store they had ladders and items that are not safe for children to have access. The workers never made rounds to make sure the place was clean or toys were organized etc. all 3 of them were at the front on their phones. To charge $25 per kid and an additional $15 for extra adults is a joke when the place is dirty, un organized, and majority of the toys are broken. I see potential in this place but they need to re-evaluate what their goal is for this space and maybe take out some things and buy new items for the children to enjoy. They should also rethink the floor material they are busying because it looks like it canât be cleaned properly. For the price and what they recommend i donât recommend this place at all. I honestly want my money back and the 1 hour i wasted on there. Candy Land in Sherman oaks is way better(clean organized and the workers actually work). I hope the owner changes things with this place and makes it better for...
Read moreFirst off, the decor is fantastic! Cloud light fixtures against a blue ceiling, city scape mural on all the walls, the little "town" has adorable buildings and a "road", and the play structure has cartoons on the doorways.
My son is 2.5 and the play structure was fully accessible to him unlike some other places I've tried to take him. He absolutely loved the ball pit and was fully engaged the whole time we were there.
The music was unfortunately obnoxious. The main overhead music was repetitive kids songs like Mommy Finger, Rockaby Baby, etc. I get that it's a kid's place, but it was really hard to tune out, then add to it that there was a game machine playing its own music near the tables so it was a bit of an auditory overload. This alone will keep me from returning.
The prices were also high. It is $15 for 2 hours of play and $20 if you want all day play. This was the first place I've been with limited play time and at a higher rate than most places charge for unlimited. Then they add a $5 fee if you want to bring in your own food, but they don't have a restaurant or anything, just a snack machine. Finally the parking is behind the building with a long ally to walk down to get to the front of the building and no sidewalks. We will not likely...
Read moreAs a bird owner, I was deeply disturbed to see live parrots being kept in small, dirty cages at this children's play facility. Parrots are highly intelligent, emotionally complex animals that need daily out-of-cage time, mental stimulation, and natural sunlight. Instead, these beautiful creatures are trapped indoors as decoration or amusement, which is incredibly cruel.
To make matters worse, the cage itself was visibly dirty and unkempt â a clear sign of neglect. This is not just unethical; itâs unacceptable. Children should be taught empathy and respect for animals, not exposed to environments where living beings are mistreated for aesthetic or entertainment purposes.
I strongly urge this business to find appropriate, enriching homes for these birds â either with experienced caregivers or at a reputable sanctuary. Until then, I wonât be back, and I encourage other animal lovers to think twice before...
