I have ate at this place a couple of times before and had good experiences. However, this most recent time, I decided to try some of their other dishes. I ordered for pick up, returned home with my order only to find that they not only got one of the dishes completely wrong, but also forgot to include one of my sides. Additionally, the shawarma was not really shawarma, and certainly didn't taste like shawarma. It was chunks of beef. As someone that knows how to cook, I know the difference. When I called back to express what went wrong and regarding a refund, the only way I was going to get a refund is to bring back the order, which I did not want to do after a long day of work. I offered to come the next day, but that was out of the question. In short no apology, 30 dollars of food seems to make or break them (can't believe I left a tip as well), fake shawarma (and they have shawarma in their name) and wrong orders. If they would have agreed to the refund, I would have said its okay. If they would have agreed to bring me the right order, I would have said no worries. If they would have apologized, I would have said thank you and left it at that. If they would have offered me even half credit, I would have been very appreciative. Also I am not sure, but aren't people who work in the restaurant industry supposed to still wear masks? It is on June 22. I cant wait to call the BBB and health department. Did I mention the fake shawarma? That is really the most...
Read moreThe taco truck my roommate and I had spotted was gone by the time we reached the corner, but we knew there were places around that we hadn’t tried yet and stopped in here because we smelled great seasoned meat cooking. The place was clean and beautiful, the staff member taking our order was super cool and very chill, and the food was absolutely A+. I got an al pastor burrito (still thinking about the taco truck) and my roommate got a shawarma plate and we LOVED both. But the real star was the homemade chips and hummus, they were seasoned to perfection and totally unexpected standouts. We might not be connoisseurs of cooking, but we know really good food when we taste it and this was delicious, fast, and a great way to finish a morning of bouldering. Will definitely be coming back, we want to try everything on this menu. Would add pictures of the meal but there was nothing...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing food and service! The portions are very generous, and everything we’ve tried was fresh, flavorful, and full of heart.
We have tried the mixed chicken kebab plate, mixed shawarma plate, chicken wrap, stuffed grape leaves, and stuffed cabbage. The flavors are delicious and comforting, with the stuffed cabbage being especially addictive. There’s a good kick to some of the dishes, which makes them even more enjoyable if you like a little spice.
You must try their baklava! Best we’ve had in the area.
The service really stands out—incredibly kind, thoughtful, and intentional. You can tell they care about their food and their guests.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for something hearty, fresh, and...
