The quality of the the sushi here has very much gone downhill over time. Over the past several years whenever I would order sushi I knew it wouldn't be mind-blowingly fresh or high quality, but at least I could be fairly confident it would be edible. With the last few orders over the past 6 months this confidence has been shaken culminating with the sushi I received yesterday of which half of it was barely edible and certainly not enjoyable and the tuna specifically was inedible. The tuna was extremely fishy smelling and tasting and rough to bite through and chew. I had to spit it out since I was not confident I would not get sick. The rice of all of the sushi was dry and hard and did not seem to be seasoned at all, but maybe all of the seasoning had simply had all day to evaporate.
Many of the specialty roles have either cooked ingredients or are completely covered in sauce you can't really tell the quality of the fish. I would stick with these if you eat here.
The Chinese Food dishes like fried rice, orange chicken, etc. are all Panda Express quality so you should be safe ordering those and they have not changed much over the past few years.
I understand business costs and inflation are making it difficult to maintain a bottom line, but please either use lower quality fish or try to sell it for longer outside of its period of freshness OR increase your prices. Please do...
Read moreWe’ve been coming to this sushi spot regularly, and it’s safe to say it’s become one of our favorites. It’s a low-key place with a relaxed atmosphere, but don’t let the casual vibe fool you — the food is consistently fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The rolls are creative without being over-the-top, and the classic options are always done right. The fish is high quality, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve.
One of the best parts is the pricing. Compared to some of the trendier sushi restaurants in town, this place offers incredible value. You get generous portions and great flavor without the inflated price tag. Whether we’re grabbing a quick dinner during the week or bringing friends on the weekend, it always hits the spot.
The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the ambiance makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. The only real downside is the parking — it can be a bit tight or hard to find during busy times. But honestly, the food is good enough that we don’t mind the minor inconvenience.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for quality sushi...
Read moreJust had this place for the first time because it was right before 9pm and my usual spot was about to close. This place was closing at 10pm so tried it out. We got the Udon, Salmon & Eel roll, and the Udon with Spicy Tuna roll combo. Since there is no dine in due to covid, ordered it as take-out. They had the dividers up in front with the menus on a table to order from. Sweet lady (wearing a mask) took my order AND brought it to my car when it was ready. The noodles were in a separate bowl from the soup so they definitely did it right. They were cooked perfectly and the huge portion of soup was still piping hot. Delicious as well. I saved some for later, of course. The salmon&eel roll was pretty good and they did not skimp on portion size. The spicy tuna roll was also good. Definitely will be coming back. Nice that they are open...
