Customer service fell a little short. No menus except for when you get to the register, so I wasn't ready with my order when I approached the cashier. She was a little demanding in the way she asked me what I would be ordering as if I was disrupting some assembly line style ordering system. Kinda hard for a 1st timer to know flavors and prices and styles if u only have 5 seconds to look over a whole menu. Every coffee shop has their own unique nomenclature for their coffees and drinks and can be overwhelming for a 1st timer, so I kept it simple and ended up with a $4 regular coffee and a $5 vanilla latte. Both were good after the proper amount of sweetener and cream were added so they made up slightly for the sub par customer service. All in all, coffee seemed pricey, but satisfying and I would drink coffee from there again, but I won't go in and get it. I would recommend they add menus to their walls or hand railing so that customers can have their order ready without the pressure of an overly eager cashier and 10 people...
Read moreI make my own bulletproof coffee/tea at home just about everyday so I rarely go out for coffee these days but when I do it has to be planned and it has to be AMAZING :P I passed by Tierra Mia Coffee before and it's almost impossible to find parking. I scored a parking spot in front although I had to parallel park, the meter costs a quarter for 15 minutes. I knew I wanted something really strong and decided to get the cafecito Cubano con leche. I wanted the small size but asked how many shots it had. The barista said it was one shot but theirs was two ounces so it was equivalent to two shots. OMG, so good, strong, and perfectly sweetened. I didn't even have to ask !!! I picked up a homemade granola bar to take with us and when my kids and I tried it later, it was amazing as well... I texted one of my friends immediately about my latest find and my childhood friend and she laughed, growing up I went to a dental clinic on Alvarado and it...
Read moreThis coffee shop was close to our Airbnb stay and was top rated in the area. We visited the place twice during our stay in LA and tried their Lavender and Horchata lattes. Both were delicious, Horchata was exceptional though, very smooth and silky. The ambience of the cafe is good, it’s a Latin coffee chain with nice baristas. The crew is all-girl and they have indoor as well as outdoor seating. It’s actually better than Starbucks without any doubt. They have regular snacks items like muffins and croissants. The parking is a problem, just before the cafe, there is big grocery store called Vons, we parked there both times. If you are in the area, don’t miss to visit this place to satisfy your coffee cravings. As a bonus, just across the street there is a nice maxican street food shop- Burrito King which is a good...
