Tom of Finland House — Attraction in Los Angeles

I am a female artist that attended the figure drawing monthly group today. I needed fit male models to finish a project. ToFF was welcoming, comfortable, and accommodating to my traveling easel. I enjoyed the music, atmosphere, and time with fellow artists.

On a side note, ToFF had many people who had no life drawing experience and were just art making curious. If you are just trying it out, or a professional artist it's a great place for both.

Of course, the house and art was fantastic....

I work here, so I'm biased, but this is a truly unique place. It is a "living museum" in every sense. It has a few permanent residents as well as a steam of artists-in-residence who come and stay for anywhere between a few days to a few months. It houses one of the largest collections of erotic art in the world and has an extensive library of printed books...

I absolutely loved my visit here. The house is a treasure trove that pays homage and testament to the huge talent and creativity of Tom of Finland. There is a large collection of his original works. The staff there were super friendly and told us a lot about Tom. Make sure to call ahead and make an appointment. Take time to walk around the gardens...
