Burrito King — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Im probably one of the pickiest eaters most people will ever meet (not something I'm proud of, it's actually a huge bummer and attributed mainly to my OCD), because of this there are many restaurants (both sit down and fast food/take out) that I will never experience. Until recently I thought Burrito King would be lumped into that same category. I'm happy to say that I was SO WRONG! I had the combo plate with 3 chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. OMG, it was so good! The chicken was cooked perfectly and you could actually taste the chicken and cheese because, unlike other eateries I've visited, the enchiladas weren't drowned in sauce. Not to say they were dry at all, quite the contrary...but I was actually able to taste all of the flavors of the entre without any one overwhelming the others. The rice and beans were also delicious! My friend has lengue tacos and said they were the best he's ever had. We dined there, at the small metal counter between the order and pick up windows and everything was clean and provided for us. The people who helped us (I believe they may be the owners) were super nice and really completed the dining experience for us! It was a great visit and I look forward to my next visit to...

NEVER since living in Los Angeles have I had a burrito…that doesn’t take like mexican food?like idk how it’s possible for a burrito to not taste like a burrito lol but damn they blew my mind w that one. Didn’t receive the tacos Potato taquitos were tasty said the person who ordered them/the only one to eat them lol but now they’re the only one clinging to the toilet bowl so😳 And then the Jamaican was just not good All in all. For years, this was a great Mexican food stand where you could purchase some very delicious Mexican tacos, burritos, and nachos. I am uncertain what has happened in recent months.

When I tried calling, a recorded message revealed the number is disconnected. When I arrived ALL the prices of their food had been removed. The cost of the nachos increased from $10.59 to $14.24 including tax and the styrofoam box handed to me was half the size of the containers nachos used to be served in.

Also, after arriving home I opened the box and discovered the nachos were covered with Velveeta cheese instead of real cheddar cheese.

While waiting for my order, I asked if they have a new phone number and was told rather nonchalantly that the number has been inoperative "for awhile."
