First, let me get the good out of the way. The inside is beautifully done with a classy cozy interior. Second, the staff were super friendly—-probably helped since relatively no one was inside but still nice attitudes all around.

The reason for the bad rating is mainly because of the way they operate. As a “brewery “ they are a small batch, 5 barrel outfit so that means that they have an extremely limited supply. It takes them 2-4 weeks to brew a new batch supposedly.

Hence, when I went in they had NONE of their beers available and only mostly beers from New Belgium. At $7-8 a beer that’s not their own I could have gone to any other bar for that or a lower price. They didn’t indicate anywhere that these weren’t their own beers except for the small type on their menus inside. It’s basically a crapshoot when you walk in if they have their own brews on tap. Apparently they also serve food as well but I saw nothing below $14 so I hope it’s not small portions.

Given that they are basically the only bar in the area and adjacent to USC ($$$$$) I’m sure they will do well with the frat crowd. But not by selling their own beers since they don’t seem to have any...

Came here around 3:30 pm on a Sunday and was able to get a spot in the parking lot. However the lot isn't that big so if you come when it's busier you might need to park elsewhere.

The brewery itself doesn't really stand out, it's in the back corner of the parking lot and has both indoor and outdoor seating. It was mostly empty when we were there. A staff member came to us to take our orders and was very attentive.

They're interesting because they have there house beers but they also have some beers from other breweries. The JFB was an easy beer to drink and I also really liked the fruit beer Take It Squeezy.

They also serve their own food which is always a good thing when...

fyi to anybody planning on coming here the beer list is on the smaller side and the beer percentage is also on the lower side. i think the highest percent i saw was a 6% which in no way is a bad thing or a knock to them but we were looking for more options and stronger ones. other than that, the service was great and the waitress was very attentive. i'd visit in the future to try some of the food i saw on the menu which seems like this place is more of a date night so i'd be sure to visit under different circumstances. i'd also note that the restroom was extremely clean. lastly, the beer was good and there was really no complaints about...

An oasis in an obscure corner on the outskirts of downtown. Everything was a pleasant surprise, from the beer, to the restroom waiting area, the super crisp display on the projector showing the game, to the in-house cut and battered onion rings. Wings were crispy and well sauced. There will be some disappointed that they do not offer a Buffalo option. But it is a bold move that plays well with the vibe. Walk or Get a ride if you can, parking will be a hassle.
