Tom's Junior Burger — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I went here after a long ride from Arizona and had my money stolen. I was treated horribly and I never received my food because of a complaint I had and they never returned my money. I made an order at the drive through it was not repeated back to me and I was told that they couldn't hear my order yet they proceeded to charge my card. After receiving my receipt I noticed they did not charge me for everything I ordered and there was a credit card charge that I was unaware of them charging. They charged this fee with out informing me and without my permission. My total was $34.81 and when I asked about my other item which was probably a $2 hot dog I was told I had to run my card again. I then said no and requested my money back and was told that they could not give me my money back and I had to return the next morning to receive a refund. I am an out of town customer and I had no time in my schedule to return to their location. I never received my food and they kept the money they charged to my card. This place is racist and have no customer service skills. I sat in the drive through for at least 1 hour with my babies that were hungry at ages 1 and 2 years old. If it was not for them crying I would have sat there longer although they continued doing business around my car and it really made no difference. I am highly upset and hurt by my experience that I am still fighting for to this day and the event happen 2 months ago prior to this post. If you are desperate and their is nothing else open . The menu looks nice . The food on the menu looks better , than the food actually tastes . The food is oily and sagy . The fries are stale and are like chewing semi hard candy . The fries are old .The steak burrito was good . The onions aren't happenihg . They are old and taste awful .The prices are too high , and they don't match the low quality of the food . The salad is old and bad . The dressing smells bad . They have multiple windows . But you can only order at one and pick up at the same window . It's was a challenge trying to order .Everytime , I was trying to order food , food was being handed out . In the same window , I'm trying to order from . The fish was awful and old . No seasoning . At this location the workers don't care about the job . Have multiple people standing around asking you for money and yelling , when you are trying to order and selling items . Very uncomfortable The tattoo lady named Penny , she gave ok service . Really good food. Been eating there since the mid 80's when I was a teen. Whenever I visit Cali, it is mandatory that I go to Tom's Jr. for food to go. However, one issue I have with this location and like many other hamburger stands in the hood, in South Central L.A. is that they don't have public restrooms for customers. I had to take a piss really bad and had no choice but to piss in the alley behind their dumpster at night. Luckily I had a bottle of hand sanitizer to clean my hands. Also, every now and then, you will come across the local bums or crackheads begging for spare change to buy food, liquor or dope. Other than that, their food is really good. The employees are friendly too. One thing I have noticed is that their prices have gone up a lot over the years. Not sure if that has to do with the minimum wage increase. I definitely recommend this burger stand to eat at. But, be careful of your surroundings, especially at night because this location is in a dangerously gang infested neighborhood and your safety should be your main priority. I wonder how many people have been robbed, assaulted or even killed at or nearby...
