Panderia & Pupuseria Ilobasco — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Customer service is horrible which leaves you with a bad experience that you don't enjoy their food. I called my order at 3:40pm, was told it would take 20 mins, I arrived at 4:10pm I figured 10 mins extra to ensure order was ready. Wrong!! I was 3rd in line, asked to pay for my order in advance, people before & after me left with their order. I asked several times for the status but the cashier & waitress didn't care, all they responded was "its almost ready" another customer who was there, he placed his order at 3:45pm, he replied when I asked for a status of my order. "They're always late with their take out orders" I honestly would've left but paid in advance! Their sweet bread is dry! So...

If i could give 0 stars I would! First of all, the food wasn't good, the service was worse. On top of that. It was extremely overpriced. The food is very simple and not worth it if you actually know good Salvadoran food. Again too overpriced for what they serve. The worse part is yet to be said. When I went to pay I was getting my change back and the waitress gave it and snatched $5 back and said "thank you"and walked away. First, I never offered any tips and it should be a voluntary action not forced like this lady did. Second, like I said the service was not good so why should I pay extra for bad service. That was very unprofessional and I am never returning and would never recommend...

Nope, not even a star for the food. The servers were nice but the food.... Ordered a pupusa revuelta. Too greasy. My mom ordered some a different plate that contained fried plantains... They were dry and tasteless. The chorizo (pork) was ok. So, asked for the restroom. Ooohh noooo, had to go through the kitchen where they were the cooks. Never again I'm eating there! Dishes were everywhere, floor all wet and slippery and the restroom .... I'm not even going to...
