Being Italian, I was very excited to see an Italian restaurant open up so close to my home. The bartender was very friendly, and the restaurant had a nice ambiance to it. Definitely enjoyed being in there and would have loved to make it my regular spot to go to weekly. Only reason I give this 2 stars and not 5 is because for the price of the Chicken Marsala, it’s extremely small portions and left me still very hungry for being around $26. I’m only 6’0” and 150lbs so I don’t normally eat much to begin with, so to say this was a small portion is saying something. The chicken breast was butterflied but then cut in half so you got a very small portion of chicken that was only topped with a few brussels sprouts and mushrooms, no actual side to accompany this dish. So once you eat that, you’re left wanting more and not in a good way. I absolutely loved the taste of the Marsala sauce and the dish itself, so there is much potential to be a great restaurant if they get their portions right for the price. You’d think it would come with a small amount of pasta or even some type of salad for the price as normally this type of dish would come with such sides. I’d love to go back and be a regular patron there weekly, but for that price I’m better off going to Ma’s in Burbank. I was very excited to try this place out, I’ll go back in a couple months to see if they updated their potions after being open a while. With the one entree and bottle of San Pellegrino costing me about $36 before tax, I spent $50 including tip to be left hungry and going home to only make myself a second dinner at home an hour later.

This place is great! Up-and-coming Chef Angel's first restaurant, and I have a feeling we'll either see more, or this will continue to grow. It's unassuming with a homey elegance. Service (Victoria) was excellent. Great friendly and great recommendations. Food was delicious. Victoria even gave my brother a free glass of wine to try with the pizza (he wasn't sure which he'd like). The bread, ravioli (handmade), oxtail pasta, and limoncello mascarpone cake (with blueberry topping) were my favorites (exceptional). Diavola pizza was unique and nor your normal pizza crust (I've never had pizza quite like this anywhere; it's fermented dough but not crispy or thin -- not super thick either). Cesar salad & mozzarella sticks (the latter which we accidentally ordered thinking it was broccolini!) were both very good and were a nice combination to eat together. Great portions for sharing. Btw only beer and wine.

A little hidden gem! ViVi ristorante is not what you expect for the location. As soon as you walk in you feel as though you’ve teleported some where else. Quaint, great vibes and cute decor. We enjoyed the food very much. We tried all the apps: the meatballs, fried mozzarella and artichoke (my fav). The margherita pizza was light and tasty. The mains- Dover fish (my fav) & two pastas. The pasta is made in house and cooked to perfection. I loved the cream inside the cannoli! I forgot to mention the ceasar salad, the romaine was nice crisp with homemade croutons and so tasty. The waiter Justin is so sweet and knows the menu well. Chef Angel was kind enough to stop by our table and you can tell he loves what he does.

If I could only describe this place in one word... it would have to be W O W !

I am so incredibly impressed with this spot. TRULY a hidden gem! I tried this for the first time the other day & I came RUNNING back just 2 days later! (Would have been the next day, but they were closed for Monday!)

The house-made focaccia was to start! Woah. We just KNEW it was about to be one of the best meals of our life! We always say, if the bread is good, then the food is good.. Well, the bread was EXCEPTIONAL….. & not to spoil anything, but the food was too!

We got to try a lot of the menu! -Caesar Salad: perfectly crispy fresh lettuce, with bread crumbs sprinkled throughout to add texture in every bite! -Bocconcini (mozzarella balls): one of the best bites of fried mozzarella I've ever had! -Carciofi Fritti: Fried artichoke bites, so delicious & perfect! I don't always recommend getting artichokes, but this is a MUST! -Quattro Formaggi Pizza: Luxuriously cheesy, velvety & packed with flavor! -Pappardelle Bolognese: THE BEST HANDMADE PASTA IVE EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH! LITERAL HEAVEN!!!!! The pasta is SO soft & FRESH! Wow! -Fettuccine: CRAZY cheesy, don't let Gorgonzola scare you away! It is SUPER creamy!!!!! If you love cheese, THIS dish is FOR YOU. -Oxtail Cavatelli (special): Insanely rich, the meat melts in your mouth ! The cavatelli, like the other pasta dishes is so smooth. *ALL PASTAS ARE HOUSE MADE!!! Usually pasta makes me feel horrible & full after eating & leads into the next day.... I WOKE UP WITH A FLAT TUMMY!!!! I felt great! This food is nourishing & ENERGIZING! -Tiramisu: Exactly how a tiramisu should be! A+++ -Cannoli: Devilishly delicious!!!!! Our server, Justin gave us great suggestions- he has a good palate so he was able to describe each dish perfectly & accurately! Justin was attentive, friendly, welcoming & helpful! He was on top of everything!

We had the honor of meeting the owner, Angel & fellow chef, Juan in the kitchen! How cool is it that the owner is hands on in the kitchen?! You don't see that too often anymore! You can taste the love they put in each bite. Angel is so passionate & hardworking. I can't wait to keep supporting this new local business! I'll be...

I took a chance on this new restaurant and I'm glad I did. Excellent food, definitely better than expected. Don't let the tiny strip mall location fool you: this is a nice Italian restaurant. Much different vibe on the inside than the outside. We ordered the ravioli, the chicken Marsala, the Bolognese, the lemon mascarpone cake, and the tiramisu. All were wonderful but the chicken and the tiramisu were probably the winners of the evening for me.

I will also say that as someone who doesn't have a huge appetite most days, the portions were not gigantic like many other places these days, which I appreciated a lot. And the food we ate did not leave me feeling heavy and overfull... more so content. Which was nice because then we had room for dessert, which was really good. I think the tiramisu was the best I've tasted and I've tasted many different ones in my life.

Our server was also very nice and attentive with lots of helpful recommendations. The food comes out super fast, btw.

The menu isn't huge but that seems to mean the limited number of things they serve are all things they make very well. I 100% see myself coming back here...
