ANOTHER UPDATE: Since posting my last update, I have received the kind of customer service no one gets these days. They responded immediately. Here... and then someone called me today. They said they will train their employees to do better. I think they recently added new kiosks and that's been weird for the employees. Thank you for listening, Waba. If the kiosks mean less employees, I'm still uncomfortable about supporting you. But in the food desert of Glassell Park, you are the best. Conundrum! I truly appreciate your customer service. UPDATE: I've obviously been going here for years. Went in today and the employee yelled "Are you paying in cash?" I said no, debit card. Employee...(deep sigh) "Well, I guess I can serve you." I said sorry to have bothered you and left. WTH? Seems like a poor business model to not want to serve customers. 4 star to 1 star...Bye-Bye....

Overall, I found the food underwhelming. This was my first time at a Waba Grill, which I have often heard referred to as the healthier Yoshinoya.

I opted for 1/2 beef, 1/2 chicken combo. The steamed rice was quite good (I think they use calrose). In my opinion, the chicken was better than the beef - I found the beef to overly dry and on the saltier side. The combo was rounded off with a serving of lettuce and an orange wedge. I found that most of the flavor came from the added sauces (teriyaki and salad dressing).

I went in to use the kiosk and it's confusing and I messed up my order. I was suppose to get a waba bowl but I ended up with just chicken which I know is my fault since I didn't pay very well attention to it. But it wouldn't let me select no veggies. I didn't want any veggies and you can choose up to 2 options "no carrots, no cabbage and no broccoli." I didn't want anything and it wouldn't let me. And when It was a bit slow so when I clicked on one thing it didn't load but when I tried to click it again, that's when it loaded and I ended up clicking on something else. It was a bit...
