Wirin Thai has some of the best Thai food you will find in the City and for a super reasonable price. It is a little place with only a few booths. Most people either have their food delivered or they call and pick up, but we love eating there. Because most people do take away, there is usually a place to sit in this little gem.
Don't let the exterior fool you. It had the cutest cat mural on it and some idiots decided to tag it and the sign. This little place has been struggling since Covid and they are not going to put money right now into replacing the sign, which was so nice.
The service is just great. Everyone is so nice. This is a family owned business. They have a great menu and their lunch specials are great. There is nothing we have had there that we don't like and I think we have pretty well completed the menu.
They have these great egg rolls with shrimp, and they are not little Bay shrimp, but nice big shrimp stuffed into an eggroll. Their Pad Thai is amazing and we really love their BBQ duck rice. All the soups are good.
You will love this place. Parking is on the street and you will find a spot. It is little, so don't miss it, right on the corner of Venice Blvd. and Lincoln in Venice,...
Read moreSo we just got to Los Angeles after 3 days of driving from Miami Florida and we need some authentic food. Living in Marina del Rey, Google Maps points me to a Thai restaurant nearby. In our house we always say trust Waze and trust Google so we drove over to check it out. Only one person or group is allowed in the front door at a time to order. It seems that ordering ahead of time online will save you 10 to 15 minutes. Once you order you step back outside and wait. The gentleman will bring you your order as soon as it is ready. They do not have massimon, which is a bummer because it is my favorite Thai curry. However I tried the pumkin, which may or may not be related to a pumpkin of Halloween fame. It was absolutely delicious. Just the right balance of sweet and savory. I specifically went after the vegetable version of this because we had three days of eating garbage and drive-thrus and my body was craving some vegetables. I actually think I got the best dish possible for this particular curry. I also strongly recommend the boba drink of the day. It is very reasonably priced and...
Read moreThe iced milk tea is the best thing on the menu. The spicy chicken wings are a waste of time...straight from freezer and into the fryer, then dump in sauce. The soup is creamy, but no real taste of anything no lemon grass or cilatro just a lot of mushrooms and shrimp. They do take the gi track out of the shrimp here at least (they over cook the shrimp). The rad na with 2 different brocolis does not improve the taste...the gravy is soupy thin with no real taste. The yellow curry was creamy again no taste. This crab cakes tasted old and not fresh, where is the plum sauce not with my order the whole thing was disappointing and sad tasting. Where are the chili oil, vinagar, fish oil and sugar? Boo This place is perfect for people who are afraid of different spices and taste. The blandist thai food place i have ever had. The iced thai milk tea though was the best i have ever had! Too bad though waste of time and still hungry. Not only the shytest thai resturant but also the rudest people. This is a joke resturant ran by sad people who cant cook, not even their...
