Marina Seven Motel — Hotel in Los Angeles

I am writing this review in our room at this horrible place and can't wait to leave. Why didn't we leave? Because after seeing the condition of this place, we wanted a refund of the second night and management wouldn't give us one. So, at $172 a night, we are putting up with: black mold in the bathroom grout, a gross, dirty bath mat, brown stains in the toilet bowl, an electric outlet with no protective cover plate, a tiny ironing board but no iron, an ice bucket but no ice machine on the premises, (the management tells you to go to the 24-hour liquor store around the corner for ice), no complimentary toiletries except a sliver of soap, bath towels that are small and scratchy, no alarm clock, and three plastic clothes hangers. The only redeeming quality is the beds are comfortable. ||||If you are still thinking of staying here, bring earplugs. Lincoln Ave. is busy and is the main road to the area's hospital so ambulance sirens blare about 3...

Overall, no bad experiences. Very generic motel experience. We were out in the town til very late so we just needed a bed and bathroom.

The fan in our bathroom was soooo loud. Some fruit flies in the sink drain.

No mini fridge/microwave which was a disappointment for someone who has special food needs and we wanted a place to store some water and beverages.

Parking was kind of a joke as well. The spots were numbered but when we came back to our room late at night, our spot was taken and all the other spots were filled? So we had to park elsewhere and walk back to our room at 1am.

Also a bit pricy for a room we only spent 8 hours in. The last motel I stayed at in LA was only about 80 dollars a night. This one was...
