Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Los Banos

I’ve unfortunately had two disappointing experiences at Chipotle located in Los Banos. The first time I visited, the atmosphere was overwhelming. The employees were blasting loud rap music on top of the already loud dining music, creating a chaotic and unattractive environment.

As for the food, it was equally disappointing. Fast forward to my most recent visit, where I opted for the drive-thru and ordered three bowls for my family. The chicken was particularly off-putting - fatty, overcooked, and even had burnt spots. The beans appeared clumpy and old, as if they hadn’t been mixed all day, and the rice was sticking to them. The vegetables were the worst part; they looked like they were cooked in a greasy pan without proper cleaning. The side of veggies I ordered was just unappetizing, and the pictures I took reflect that.

I typically visit the Merced location, which consistently delivers better quality food, so it’s disappointing to see such a stark contrast. I really need to remember that the Los Banos location doesn’t meet my standards, especially when I’m trying to eat healthier. It's a shame because I usually enjoy Chipotle, but this experience has left me...

I generally like Chipotle as far as the chain goes. Was very excited when this location opened up in Los Banos since I work near by. Unfortunately I have gone dozens of times now since it's opening and been very disappointed almost every visit. Always the same variation of simple serving problems. Food is prepared without pride and sloppy, very poorly put together. Proportions are extremely unbalanced, barely any of one ingredient while an overabundance of another. Pre ordered food online is not ready on time. Rice is undercooked and hard half the time. Or my personal favorite and most common issue is the side salsa container that's filled less than a 1/4 of the way full and basically worthless be it for a burrito or chips and salsa. Corporate always provides a 30 day "BOGO" voucher for the poor experience but that only means a return visit for the same poor service at twice the frustration. I recommend spending your money elsewhere, at one of the other many locations in Los Banos selling actual Mexican food, where the service takes pride in what they do and you can get an a real properly rolled burrito with a FULL...

If I could out no stars I would. The worse experience I had at a Chipotle. Ordered food online said it would be ready around 745pm. I asked how long will it take they said it will be 15-20 mins because on orders backed up. I understand that but after waiting 30 mins I asked again and they said 15-20 mins again. I told them I waited 30 mins the last time they said that. But I waited again and still my food wasn't ready. I counted at least 50 to 60 people came in and ordered before I even got my food. You had employees on the main line have no one in line and just standing there when they could be helping out the online orders. Once I got my food I checked it and my whole order was wrong and way under portioned for what I'm paying them for. One I ordered extra chicken and usually I always see the extra chicken but when I opened it. They were hardly any in my bowl. Another one looked like it was going to feed a bird instead of an adult.
