My experience tonight was the worst!

Normally it's a hit or miss with this location and tonight was the miss for dinner I had ordered around 7:55pm and they close at 9pm. I'd noticed that I was missing an order of fries, one of the poboys didn't really have any fish, bread was hard so I called the restaurant and asked for those items and they said that they can credit or remake. I said I'm not far so I'll come back. When I made it back to the restaurant the manager Hannah told me over the phone, that before I hung up they wanted to tell me that the kitchen was closed at 8:45pm and I called at 8:50pm and they can credit me. So i asked why not call me back or contact me through email. She said I didn’t have your number, and I'm like with technology if that was true that is very unacceptable. So I'd made a blank trip!

So yes I then drove back there to the restaurant and only offered a credit over the phone and now I'm empty-handed with no dinner or no refund. This business is going down especially with the quality of the food and service. Not to mention when I made it back home my husband complained about the gumbo, he said that it didn't taste anything like gumbo (no meat present) and that he had to throw it away and my kid didn’t eat any of the mac and cheese because the noddles were stuck together with barely any cheese on them.

Service and quality was horrible at this point what do I need a credit for? I NEED A REFUND! For all those items! So just because the kitchen is closing you don't take pride in preparing the meal correctly. Train the kitchen workers properly because our dinner is now ruined.$65...

Today's to go order was by far the worst meal I have ever gotten. I asked for no tomatoes on my burger and got absolutely nothing on it except about a half a teaspoon of mustard. I also asked for no tomatoes on my husband's cheeseburger which was done but the lettuce that was on it appeared as if it was a month old. Wilted and brown. The burger patties tasted like the frozen kind that I get from Winn Dixie for those times when I don't want to cook. The okra I ordered was not even completely cooked and all the okra around and under the container of ranch was a soggy inedible mess. I seen the exterior sign said today's soup was seafood gumbo so decided to add it to my order when I got inside the building. Had I known that I would have to wait an additional 15 minutes for a container of roux, okra and 3 small shrimps I wouldn't have wasted my time and money. And the restaurant was not busy at all, maybe 8 occupied tables. Of course the lack of patrons could be due to the horrible food. I would have been better off just throwing $47 out the window on my way home. Absolutely disappointing. Will not...

Went on 9/6 Saturday night. This was my family's 1st visit. It was pretty busy. We were going to the Main Event next door for my little girl so, we decided to eat here 1st. We were greeted & seated. Nice atmosphere , clean, cozy. The food we had was pretty good &, came out in a timely manner. My Baked Potato came with no butter, chives or, bacon when, I asked for a fully loaded one during my ordering. I had to wait until my waitress came back. That took a while. I just didn't care for the waitress much. She didn't come to check on us often to take away plates or ask if we needed drink refills. We only had one drink the whole time which, agitated me. Other than that, it was pleasant. Decent prices. I give this Restaurant 3 ☆'s for the food, atmosphere &, price. There're just too many excellent Restaurants around that stay busy, where I will Not be forgotten. I won't be returning to this...
