Recently got out of hospital and craving a Bud's Broiler pickmeup. The wife and I went to the Causeway store and walked in to find a large fan running in the back and air conditioning either not working or doing so poorly. The place wasn't really clean and the tables were in disarray. We ordered burgers and onion rings, figuring that the excellent food would outweigh the discomforts. NOT! The onion rings came out under cooked and were sent back. They returned burnt to a crisp. Sent back and the next came out perfect. The burgers were dry and tasteless, without even a hint of being charbroiled. Ordered a cherry fried pie, but told they were out, only had apple and one other kind. Came back with no, only apple. Then came back with none at all. We never saw what would appear to be a manager. Bud's Broiler in City Park has never failed to provide me with fantastic food. Upper management really needs to look at what ever is going on on Causeway, because this poorly run station is a blight on a great fast...

So I stopped by the one on causeway yesterday. My order 2 #6 (see above) to fry. Please put one burger and 1 fry in a bag and the other in the other. I even explained THE WHY behind my request. And it was in person as well. It wasn’t crowded but started to be as I patiently waited chewing on ice. BUDs has that good ice. After 20minutes got the bags- they had the 2 COLD fries in one and the 2 burgers in another. Once I dropped it off, about 5 mini minutes from the location. My friend text me that there was barely any sauce & cheese, and of course noted the cold fries. I agreed when I got home and tried to enjoy mine. $20 for 2 cold burgers and fries is crazy. This wasn’t the only issue. I quickly realized why the service was so bad. The 4 guys working there didn’t know a well done from a rare. They didn’t know a straw from a fork.
Multiple customers left while I was present. All of this wasn’t even the reason I wanted to leave this review. I was picking up a doordash. And they called my name and when I got there the guy had to make a quick adjustment. I said “no problem” and he responded “I wasnt FBOMB talking to you” You NEVER curse at a customer. This was absolutely the most un professional thing I’ve seen in a long time. That guy should be fired and the other 3 need to be re trained...
