Bartender took our drink order in the absence of our waitress. Suggested an Abita 3090, I believe. It was great! Waitress finally showed, took our order. Waiter brought our order. Husband’s burger was missing its dressing of ketchup, mustard, and pickles (free additions), however did have bacon ($2 addition.) Surely our waitress will come by soon to make sure our orders are correct and food tastes great. Surely....... No waitress. My beer is gone, I do not have a beverage. I get up, walk over to three other employees to include the waiter that brought us our food - “Hey, do you know where our waitress is?” “I’ll find her.” No one asks if everything’s okay or if we need anything. Awesome. Return to my table. Quite perturbed... Waitress shows. “Is everything okay?” Well, no... “Can we speak with your manager, please?” Manager walks over. I begin by letting him know how delicious my burger and fries are. (They really were!) I continue by explaining what’s just transpired, he offers my husband a replacement burger. Ugh, no, just the condiments, please. (We have a 6.5-hour drive to our destination following this meal.) He leaves. Never brings any condiments. Go figure. Waitress returns completely unaware of why on earth we’d ask to speak with her manager... Opens her notebook to verify our order, insinuates my husband didn’t tell her the (free) toppings he wanted (mentioned first, mind you), or that the cooks messed up. Doesn’t offer to bring condiments. Apologizes because she’s “busy with a larger table.” OHHHHHH, okay. Read moreThe overall experience was not great. As a server/bartender it pains me to write this but I figured people needed to see an honest review. We were greeted by a sweet server that quickly sat us. It all went downhill from there. Our server, Logan, came over before I was even able to sit down and rushed us for our order. He was very odd, didn’t smile, and seemed either new or just did not care his job. Anyways, My fiancée was in the restroom when I ordered our drinks. He returned shortly after then I went to the restroom. While I was in there the server rushed him for our appetizer order. When I got back to the table the server was waiting at the table for me to order my entree, mind you I had only been in the restaurant for a total of two minutes. If it had been a busy Saturday I would understand a little rush but it was 3:00 on a Monday afternoon, and there wasn’t a soul in that restaurant. I ordered and waited for my food. It came out in a timely manner. But when I cut into my burger it was so undercooked. I couldn’t even eat it. I was going to ask them to remake it but at that point I lost my appetite. I told my server to take it off the ticket and he asked with an attitude, “Well what’s wrong with it?” I explained and he blamed me saying I should’ve told him I wanted it cooked extremely well done and said my burger was “medium well” but it absolutely was not. Read moreDisappointing. I got a to-go order from Burgersmith today and I might not be back again, even though I have eaten there numerous times. The lady on the phone said that my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later, then had to wait an additional 20 minutes before I got my food. It was basically twice as long as I was told. I got home, and most of the order is decent, but one of the burgers is basically inedible. They must have spent the entire 35 minutes cooking one side of this burger. Even McDonald's knows better than to send food like this out. If a restaurant is going to charge what Burgersmith charges for their burgers, they need to get it right. No excuses. I don't know if I will be back, because obviously they have no problem with taking forever to turn out a subpar product, despite the hefty price.
Update: I went back, and the prices are even higher. The service is just about the worst I have ever seen. Whoever is managing this restaurant should be fired. If I could give a zero rating, I would....
