There was a time when this location was great but I don't know what happened. Something changed and everything has gone downhill. They recently got rid of curbside service which is fine. Because of this I had to go inside to pickup my to go order which was a really bad experience. I showed up 10 minutes after they said it would be ready to give them a little more time. After I went in there was nobody near the to go area and because of the way the area is built nobody in the kitchen can see the to go register area. So there I was for almost 5 minutes standing there waiting for someone to notice that I was there. This allowed me time to look around which was a bad thing. First of all there were a bunch of flies buzzing around the area. I could see them freely going in and out of the kitchen area. GROSS! They have some racks set up where to go orders are set when they are ready. There were dead insects on the shelves. Disgusting. Looking on the floor behind the counter it is obvious they rarely clean back there. Old looking fries on the floor along with other trash. Finally a girl walked out of the kitchen towards the register. FINALLY I thought, someone to help me. She literally ignored me. Like I was invisible. She was barking orders to people in the kitchen so I'm guessing she was a manager of some kind. After what seemed like 10 minutes but was likely close to 3 or 4 minutes of being ignored she finally acknowledged my presence. "Here to pickup?" Yes I said and gave the name. She didn't say a word and disappeared into the kitchen and after a couple of minutes returned with bags of food which she placed on the to go shelves - yes the same ones with the dead insects. I guess the one good thing is that it wasn't my order. I was thinking it was my order but just as she placed the bags on the shelves a young lady came in the door and grabbed the bags and exchanged some words with the manager girl. It was fairly obvious they knew each other. 10 minutes later my order was ready. She said I could pay with my card at the machine on the counter. Which by the way defaults to paying with an included 15% 20% or 25% tip. You have to press the "custom tip" button to enter 0. The nerve of these people. The machine gave me an option for a texted receipt, an emailed receipt, or no receipt. No option for a printed receipt. I had no interest in sharing my phone or email with them. I wanted a printed receipt so I could review the receipt to make sure everything was there. Not the best way to check things but faster than taking everything out. Well the manager lady had disappeared and never returned. In the meantime I'm waiting for her to return before answering the prompt on the receipt to tell her I would like a printed receipt. The machine went blank after a few minutes and the manager had not returned. At this point I'm very frustrated and disgusted with Chili's Millerville so I just left. Upon getting home I find out everyone's food is correct except mind. I ordered "bone-in" wings. Instead I got boneless wings which tasted absolutely terrible. Some even were kind of cold. I don't think they were completely cooked. And I swear there was one piece of what looked like a chunk of unbreaded uncooked chicken mixed in. Overall the worst take out experience at any restaurant in my life. The previous worst was also at Chili's and this very same location but that time I figured it was just a bad day and forgave. Never again. I do like Chili's but I will never use this location again. Denham Springs location is only slightly further from my house and always looks way cleaner. Stay away from Chili's...
Read moreChillis service for curb side is horrible. I ordered a surf and turf dinner online. I recieved a text 4 minutes later saying my order was ready which I know a steak was not cooked in that length of time. I proceeded to the restaurant anyway and checked with number based on where i parked. A few miniutes later someone walk aout to my car with a salad and said the wrong name. I said my name and she walked off with the salad and went back in the restaurant. I assumed she grabbed the wrong bag. She never returned with my order but brought two other orders out. I'm thinking my order was not ready. The initial text from my order said it would be ready at 4:15 - 4:20. I waited until 4:35 to call and get the status of my order. The whole time I have been waiting about 20 minutes now and I can see a bag sitting in the window of the carry out area. The girl said my order was ready. I said I hope it's not the one sitting in the window and she said yeah it was just brought out. I informed that it had been sitting there the whole time I had been waiting and I didn't want it. She offered to make it over. I respectfully declined and requested a refund. I also asked for a manager and was given the famous line "They are not available." She advised my refund will take 7-10 days. She had to write my information and write it down and asked for the last 4 of my card number and the amount. I'm not sure what technology Chillis have but I have never heard of writing down a refund and asking the customer the amount of the refund. I asked for proof of my refund and she had to ask how would I get proof. A gentleman told her to get my email address and I recieve an email that night. Well as I already knew no email. The next day I had to call 3 times before getting a manager name Victoria on the phone who said their system was down and she couldn't process my refund and asked that I call back the next day. You would think she would have asked for my number to call me back, that's good customer service. To avoid the back and forth because I feel like I am getting the run around about MY MONEY, I asked for the dinner to be preparee since I have paid for it. I was told per corporate policy because its a new day they couldn't do that but she still asked what did I order. Not sure why that mattered if you can't give it to me. Now we are on day two and I call for them to say she is busy. I should not have to chase behind money that is owed to me. This is the worst customer service from managment on down. You all will hear from me everyday until I...
Read moreI decide to place a to go order online... the order page froze after I logged in and I didn't know if the order was placed so I called to confirm. I first call I as was ask to hold on and hung up after 7 minutes on the phone called back and prompted to speak to a manager. The lady answers the phone I explained what happened. I wanted to make sure they had the order, she said they did....so I said ok. she the said it would be ready in 25 minutes. I get up there they say they don't have an order for me. After I waited an extra 15 mins to make sure the order was ddone. I ask to speak to a manager. Then I ask for the number to confirm that I called the right place bc the girl in the front said I must have called the wrong place. The girl at the desk said she didnt even know the number. The manager ask me for the order and I gave it to her. I kept asking 2 times how long will it be and she didnt answer. After finishing the order in the computer she wasn't even trying to help the situation or try to work with me. She gave me the total so I ask if she could give me a discount for having to wait another 25 minutes... she huffed and puff like I was causing her to not be able to do her job as a manager to fix a problem that her staff and the online ordering program caused. She might want to check her staff bc I called the correct number to Millerville location to verify so this wouldn't happen. So the service has really gone down. I have been going for 10 years and have had issues from time to time but they have always been willing to fix the problem. You get the energy you give.... the manager may want to learn how to conduct business and want to keep customers happy bc I bring a lot of business there. The slender gentleman with the glasses that is the manager usually has it under control and I never have problems when he is there. Not anymore! Last time for a while...
