Ding Tea Nola — Restaurant in Louisiana

I really enjoyed this place until my visit today. The girl that was working the window this evening was god awful. I ordered a drink that was clearly stated on the menu, and the employee gave me the wrong drink. Instead of correcting it, she literally went back and forth with me saying I ordered the wrong drink. Who is training the employees?? Clearly I’m not the only customer who shares this sentiment. 2 customers within the last 2 weeks have complained about the same issue on here, so it’s evident at this point there are major customer service issues. It’s insulting to have someone tell you straight to your face that you ordered the wrong drink when they can simply correct it. Terrible service! I honestly have never in my life had someone tell me straight to my face that I ordered the wrong drink and slam the window after I asked for it to be corrected. Totally wrong! Please train these employees to better assist guests and service customers. You can have a great product but how good are you if your customers don’t feel valued!...

Let me start by saying I come here a lot. They started off amazing , amazing staff and amazing boba that is made perfectly.. Now the staff are rude and greedy for tips (one of them made a post on Instagram saying “Y’all only come to dingtea nola if youre gonna tip me”). If there’s a mistake on the order, they get upset to fix it. I ordered a drink with crystal boba and they didn’t add it in the order and I didn’t notice until I got my drink and when I mentioned it , the cashier said she didn’t say it with crystal boba and then the owner/manager TOOK OFF THE WRAP ON TOP ADDED BOBA AND DIDNT RE-COVER IT! And he said it cost another dollar for crystal boba.. like yeah I know, that’s why I ordered it. And He blamed me for not mentioning it while ordering when I did. That is my usual order. I enjoy a wide variety of flavors and sweets when dealing with coffee. So I was excited to see Hokkadoi Coffee Latte so I tried their's - it has a very sweet & rich deep vanilla and caramel like flavor that balances with a gentle coffee flavor, if you like sweet desserts I recommend it highly, you may need two as one will not be enough! As for their Vietnamese iced coffee, it was very strong, even after drinking the flavor of the roast stays with you, the sweetness of the condensed milk is overpowered by that coffee flavor, if you want extremely rich chicory coffee with powerful flavor but still sweet to the taste it is a great cup. I highly recommend this shop, the staff was pleasant, cheerful and quick, but if you need it faster they have a drive thru as well. I promise you, if you get a signature drink from them you will immediately be a fan, bring some to your friends or coworkers. I look forward to trying more...
