Epic Shakes & Creamery — Restaurant in Louisiana

**updated review after a long time- we held out for a long time, but decided to give this place one more try and I am so glad we did. When we walked in we were greeted immediately by a professionally dressed employee with their hair pulled back and not hanging over our food. When they weren't busy, they cleaned or sat in a chair and not on the countertops like our last experience. Our ice cream was perfect. The store and restroom was SPOTLESS. We were told the store is under new ownership or management, whatever it is, it is a HUGE improvement from the unsanitary experience we had over a year ago. We will for sure be back and so happy to spend our money here with the new staff/management. Great improvement, great service, great dessert!

*old review- Today was our second time at Epic and will most likely be our last. While the ice cream was good and the staff was friendly, I was appalled at the staffs unprofessional behavior. There were 3 or 4 young ladies working today. They were sitting on the countertops and the floor between customers which is unprofessional, but one young lady had her knees up like under her chin and her FEET ON THE COUNTER! She did this several times before we left the place. Who wants their ice cream prepared where someone's butt and feet have been?!? They were also eating ice cream or something out of cups while refilling containers of toppings. Their hair was not pulled back and hanging all over the food. So unsanitary...

First time stopping in, wanted to see if it would be worth it to bring my kids. The two young men behind the counter spent more time running around, yelling, and clowning around with each other than anything else. Not too long a wait for the single milkshake. Highly disappointed, it tastes like watered down cookie flavored milk. It did not have the texture of a milkshake in the slightest. Over paid for a glass of milk someone dropped a cookie in... My husband and I went into epic for a sweet treat this evening and it was delicious as always! There were two young ladies working behind the counter and both were very nice . Our cashier was pleasant but I wanted give a shout out to Tina for her great customer service ! She not only checked on us to see if we needed help but she did it with a smile which goes along way these days. They promptly got our order ready.
