Once I turned 21 I started going here every Saturday night. I became a regular (until I moved up to Arkansas). I think I was the best singer there, or so everyone though. I because great friends with a common bartender named Maria from Bulgaria! She always made me sing "Right to be Wrong" by Joss Stone for her, she loved the way I sang it.
I haven't gotten to try the food when I used to go but I've heard great things about it. The DJ, DJ Steve Knight or his son Jon Z are fantastic people. I became great friends with them too! They have a decent song selection, lots of songs and some are not in the books, but I have been to places with better choices (as in more recent stuff). But they definitely make it fun and it's a great place to go.
Last year, around July they expanded the bar. Knocked down the wall where the restaurant is and expanded it, adding 3 (I think 3) pool tables and some more booths for seating and such. Very cool and even more fun now than before! I would recommend this place to anyone! Especially if you like Karaoke (if you go to the Cat's Meow on Bourbon you may never get a chance to sing).
