Izzo's Illegal Burrito - Covington — Restaurant in Louisiana

ZERO STARS WASN’T AN OPTION!!!! I went to the Covington location this afternoon and ordered dinner for myself and my daughter. The food was terrible. The food looked as if it had sat out all day. It was no where close to fresh as they advertise and was ice cold. I ordered the steak nachos for my daughter. The steak was dripping with old grease and was cold. The cheese sauce was cold and clumpy. I ordered myself a burrito with steak and seasoned chicken. Both were dripping with grease and cold. The lettuce and cilantro were wilted from being out all day. The tomatoes, pico, corn, and all other toppings were dried out. Nothing was covered. The sour cream was watery when they squeezed it from the tube and added it to my burrito. The cheese dip was a clump in the container. We threw the entire meal in the trash and ate a sandwich at home. I spent over $35 plus a tip on something that was not edible and went to the trash. The girl who made our food and checked us out appeared to be high on something. She could hardly form a complete sentence to ask for our order. She also had open sores on her face and arms. I will NEVER again eat at, or order ANYTHING from this place again. You really need to send someone in to quality check this place. There was only 2 other patrons eating at this place when we went in. I can understand why now. I wish I would have read the reviews on Yelp before I made the awful decision to stop here for dinner. I will not make that mistake again. I normally cook at home instead of fast food but we had errands to run tonight after work and school so it seemed like a good idea. BAD IDEA!!!! Lesson learned!!!! NEVER AGAIN Read...i went to izzo’s in Covington around 12:15/12:30 yesterday on 05-16-21. That is approximately 1 hour or so after they opened. I came with my significant other who has been trying to convince me to try this place for a while. To cut to the chase, all of the food on the counter looked old. the lettuce was definitely Wilted, the tomatoes look like they sat out for a day or so before and the Pico de gallo even looked old. Well, of course since it was only a little more than an hour after they opened we thought maybe it just looked like that both got a burrito it didn’t taste bad. We ate about halfway through before we got full and both went home to blowing out both of Our ends im 9 months pregnant about to pop in 3w and haven’t had morning sickness since i was 4/5 months but at first I thought it was me having a sensitive stomach but it just took a little longer to affect him and we both had to leave / miss work today due to bad food poisoning im talking all night till even right now the next day as im writing this review and im not one of those people definitely not usually one of those customers but it is...

This place is filthy dirty. I have been here many times over the past few years and it's always disgusting inside. The floors are littered with food, the work station behind the counter is dirty and has food all over the place. We went today and the quality of the food looked very poor. The chicken was dried out and slightly burnt, the lettuce had a slimy, very wet look to it. The guacamole was brown and looked like it had been made several days ago. The salsa/drink bar looked like it hadn't been wiped down in a long time. I'm not sure what the manager was doing but it wasn't that busy in there and he could have had one of the employees cleaning up the place...or he could have done it himself. Instead, I saw one of the employees just chowing down on food in the kitchen area, eating with his hands. I watched to see if he would wash his hands afterwards and he just wiped them on a rag that was hanging from his belt. I was afraid to use the restroom after looking around the restaurant.
