Highland road location, Absolutely horrible, told our waitress there was a roach crawling on our babies highchair and she said was it in the food or on the highchair it doesn’t matter if it’s on the highchair, After asked if I could speak to a manager, they said they’re not here right now and I asked who I could speak to and She said me and the assistant manager, and I said well who else can I talk to you since you obviously don’t care and she said I’ll let the Boss know To give you a call. Once I said, I will pay the bill once the boss calls me. She said what he said that that’s all you wanted anyway was a free bill absolutely not. That is horrible.. Stopped here on my way back home to Texas, where the real Tex-Mex is. I digress. The food here comes close and is packed with lots of flavor, with the exception of their beans. Hello seasoning, are you there? They offer a wide variety of items from grilled fish to Tex Mex favorites like enchiladas and tacos. Ordered the Cheese and onion enchilada platter and loved it, although the chili con carne tasted like canned chili. Hmmm…. Lots of food for a decent price. Topped dinner off with a mango margarita that was to die for! One drink had me buzzing and doing that one shoulder shimmy in my seat. The service wasn’t as attentive as expected, however; there was no host in sight, so I sat at the bar…. Wasn’t greeted for about 7 mins and I was the only person at the bar! Service extremely slow and hardly anyone was in the restaurant. The server that had us seat ourselves was more concerned with the larger party that came in after us. She had already taken the table of 6-8 people their chips and salsa. We just sat there waiting. Later another waitress came saying she was sorry. I'm not sure where she kept getting lost at. She didn't come refill our drinks. The food was horrible. I was always told if food greets you on the floor not to eat at that place. Well, food greeted us at the "please wait to be seated" podium. I couldn't understand how food was even there and the floor. Disgusting! Anywho...never again for me. My boyfriend even said the food was different than the other location.
