CAVA — Restaurant in Louisiana

Love cava so no complaints about the food but the service at the highland location is baffling. I went multiple times where the workers would often ration a bowl like we’re in an apocalypse when i’m paying $15 for it. Those times, I simply just asked to give a little more than what they are throwing in there. However, a week ago or so, I went in with my boyfriend and there was 3 workers: a taller girl, a shorter girl, and one guy. The taller girl was obviously busy with a to go order and walking around doing HER JOB. The shorter girl was eating the pita chips and refused to make eye contact with us because she did not want to help us. Her back was turned and was talking while eating with her male coworker. The guy (he’s usually the one whose very skimpy with the bowls and just throws ingredients in there), also didn’t care to acknowledge us when we walk in and continued talking to the shorter girl. The short girl then just walked into the back kitchen because she didn’t want to do her job but only talk and eat. She even pretended to do stuff like looking at receipts so she wouldn’t help us. It was obvious she wanted to only do the to go orders and not help us and was waiting for her male coworker to help us. We stood there awkwardly for what felt like 6 minutes waiting for them to help us. The guy finally put his gloves back on (eye-twitchingly slow as he continues to talk to the girl and still not looking at us). He walks over to us nonchalantly like he wasn’t ignoring us. He then proceeds to scoop half a spoon of rice and throws like 6 romaine lettuce in total in my bowl. The bowl is usually filled to the top a bit but somehow my $15 bowl was only half way despite all that I put on it. Literally half was just air. The food barely even touch the lid of the bowl. All you have to do is scoop food in a damn bowl and somehow you mess that up too? Then, he was so lazy he didn’t want to get a new bottle of dressing so he just sprayed whatever was left in the bottle and call that a drizzle of dressing. After paying, he completely leaves the counter without 1) bags because we ordered to go 2) give me my drink cup. The taller girl who usually does her job had to bag our order for us. We left and finished our food in like 3 bites. Waste of money. This location really needs to reassess their workers before it will becomes the downfall of it. For now, I will have to drive all the way to perkins rowe...

One of the Most PATHETIC PLACE TO VISIT!!!!

AVOIDING THIS PLACE WOULD HAVE BEEN THW BEST OPTION FOR US COZ WE REGRETTED LATER... WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY ... FOOD FOR KIDS NOT FOR ADULTS

There are 3 lady staff one of the staff name is Zara / Sara... either they all are trained in a manner or they behave in a way that they are completely unaware that the food is served to Adults and not to Kids..

In a big bowl she serves 1 spoon of rice ... R U KIDDING ME ... a customer who is 230 pounds 6 feet tall ... do have little sense that how much food are you serving... if asked for extra rice ... her immediate response will be it will be charged extra.. ( my response ..OK accepted, please add)

1 tablespoon of meat ... seriously 1 tablespoon of veggies If you ask for extra... their immediate response will be it will be charge ..

Many customers were getting annoyed with this kind of silly behavior... The server sara/ zara had no sense that its not kids meal its for grown up adults... you are serving 1 tablespoon of corn , 1 tablespoon of beans ..1 tablespoon of veggies...

It looks so annoyingly pathetic that as a customer you are paying $15 to $17 per bow and this is how they are serving... irritating every customer... and leaving a ridiculous bad impression of never returning back to this place ever...

Everytime I'm in town which is often for work, this is my secret spot for clean eating. I make it a point to go in on Friday because Kei is there and always enthusiastic, gives great food suggestions and service. However, this past Friday when myself and another customer was there being waited on by Kei who is a young lady named Lashonda walked up to Kei, and said I'm ready to be checked out. Kei politely said when I finish with the customers I will check you out. This young lady Lashonda said whether you check me out or not I'm leaving she was very nasty and very rude to Kei and Lashonda walked off. Kei maintained he professional and apologized. That young lady Lashonda should be mopping, sweeping, taking out trash or dishwasher anything but interacting with customers. That attitude of Lashonda's was ridiculous and she really needs to fix that especially when speaking to management amd in front of customers. Like I said with that attitude dishwasher would be...
