Pretty place, Server Vincent was excellent. My sushi order took quite a bit longer than I would expect being there at 11:45am and based on the moderate crowd. Vincent kept up with me and I actually consumed two glasses of wine, waiting on my food order. I immediately noticed an unpleasant fishy odor when my plate was placed in front of me. I know I ordered raw fish, but as I eat sushi twice a week on average, I never have encountered this smell. The second roll contained blue crab, but had an excessive amount of shell in it. I honestly do find some shell in crab dishes pretty much everywhere, but never to this extent. I was able to eat about one third of the food. I just could not stomach it. I tipped my usual percentage, as I don't feel it was the servers fault. I did voice my concern, as well as giving my contact information on the back of their receipt, for him to give to management. That was January 16th, this is February 2nd and feel strong enough about this visit, to write this post. I would not...

Never been here before, but my son and I both love Sushi and it was a convenient place for us to meet so we decided to give it a try. We loved it. First, I had the waitress recommend one of their beers imported from Japan, which was really good. I can't remember the name of the beer (something "Cat"). All the writing on the can was in Japanese, so I'm thenot sure what kind of beer it was, but it was pretty good. Next we had the Hello Boom Boom Calamari, which was the best I've had around Baton Rouge. Great flavor and fried perfectly, not the rubber round frozen onion rings looking things you get at some places. Then we had salmon, eel, masago, and a crunchy roll, which were all very good. Plus we got the Snow Crab Naruto and Caliente Roll. Both were great, but my favorite was the snow crab Naruto, but I love cucumbers so others might not like it as much.

I will...

Their fresh ramen bowl was LEGIT the best thing I have EVER eaten!!! I also LOVE their crunchy rolls (as does my husband & 6 year old) & the cucumber & crabstick salad. Their shrimp fried rice is pretty amazing too, my middle daughter could not get enough of it. My husband and I have been going her since we 1st started dating, about 11 years ago & it has remained one of our favorite go to spots. If you are worried about eating in public since COVID, they also do take out as well (u can even get that LIT fresh ramen bowl to go) and they seperate the broth from everything else so that its still nice and fresh for u when u get home to eat it. I absolutely LOVE...

The food here is incredible. Shame that its so hidden in a badly positioned strip mall where it cant get good exposure. The bbq eal 'Eal Una Ju' is first class. I also love how they give you a generous serving of Miso soup, which is also one of the best I've had. Also, a very nice portion of house salad on the side too, which even has pineapple pieces in it to give it a personal touch. I usually Uber food from here, but I once did pick up. The restaurant looks cozy and clean too.

This is such a great sushi place to check out on your lunch break! I used to go here every Friday and sit at the bar when i was alone and at a table with clients. Unfortunately, I relocated, but i will say that i was already treated like royalty, reasonably priced, and AMAZING sushi. You can watch the chefs prepare the sushi and you can see the care and effort they put into everything. PLEASE go show these ladies some love!

I've been passing by this place for years and finally gave it a try today. Let me start off by saying a lot of restaurants, that serve fried rice, is usually bland. I got the house fried rice with chicken and shrimp in it, and it was delicious... I also got the spicy snowcrab roll, and it wasn't spicy, but it was really good! Been missing out on this little gem.
