Let me start by saying I LOVE LIT. Like could eat it multiple times a week. However, after my experience at this location tonight I may hold off on Lit until the one in Denham is completed. I got off late from work and most things were closed in Denham, so hubby and I decided to ride to LIT for dinner. It was around 9:30 PM and Facebook, this google page, and the door of the restaurant say close at 10 pm. My husband gets out and pulls on the door, it's locked. There is an employee wiping down tables within eyesight of the door who never acknowledges him. If you're closing early, a sign or even employee acknowledgement would be greatly appreciated. Now we wasted time and are frustrated. LIT, please train your employees better and update your closing times if you are, in fact, closing early.
However, I did get an apology from LIT stating that they did have new closing times that were posted on the site and supposed to be the door. They have already sent the complaint to management and will be handling things appropriately. This is why we love LIT! I think I will frequent another location until...
Read moreMy family and I LOVE the Lit Pizza chain and have been to this particular location quite a few times even though it's not our regular location. You see, it's become tradition to go eat at Lit after our Baton Rouge Gem and Mineral Society meetings each month now.
However, after tonight's experience, I may think twice about next month's dinner choice.
The staff was standoffish and the cashier girl was downright rude. Our pizzas were burnt on the outside and mushy & uncooked in the middle.
Having dealt personally with the owner, Mr. Fernandez, in the past, I doubt very highly that he would have been proud to have his name on the product we received tonight from start to finish. If we go back and it's improved, I'll update this to reflect that...
Read moreMy first time to try Lit Pizza last night! I was impressed with the speed of ordering, unlimited toppings and quick baking time. We order the first combo called "Lit Combo" that included sausage, pepperoni, onions, bell peppers and mushrooms. Along the line I added canadian bacon, garlic, basil and arugula. Was it good! And all for $8. We were so impressed sent the BF back who decided to try Cauliflower crust for upcharge of $4. He put sausage, banana peppers and zucchini for something different. Not as good, but not bad for no flour pizza. I will try gluten- free also ($2 upcharge) rather than cauliflower. It should taste more like regular crust. This place is a winner! Forgot to take pics, but will...
