McDonald's — Restaurant in Louisiana

On Mardi Gras day, I visited this McDonalds as my family and I have done for years. We parked and went inside. We’ve always grabbed a quick breakfast and purchased drinks throughout the day. As expected, it’s slammed busy all day and I’m sure the owners are making quite a bit of money given the huge increase in visitors. Something did feel different this year as a few new yellow and red signs were posted about the parking lot. They were signs indicating that the lot was for customers only and all others would be booted. As a precaution, I put my receipt on the dashboard to show that we were a customer and walked to the parade route. After some time, I needed something from my car and upon arriving noticed that 20+ cars were booted in the lot and the booting company was still there installing more. Mine was not one of them booted. I purchased a few more items and walked back to my vehicle to put another receipt on the dash. I was stopped by a rep of the booting company leaving my vehicle where I was told if I step foot off McDonalds property, I would be booted since I would no longer be considered a customer. I understand the necessity for parking for a business but, in this case, I feel you, the owners of this franchise, are exploiting families who have parked here for years, eaten at your restaurant, and then walked to the parade afterwards. Although I haven’t been affected by your decision to boot vehicles, I feel terrible for the families that are going to walk back to their cars after the parade and not be able to leave. This is already a massively profitable day for you, how much greed can an owner have? How much is enough? Some will agree, some won’t but maybe you, the owners, will consider the human factor in your...

Don’t give this place any of your money!! First I waited about 10 minutes at the speaker with NO PEOPLE in front of me in line. Then the window person drops my card as I go to hand it to them to pay, and says “you gotta move ya car to grab it” in about the most condescending tone I’ve probably ever heard, and shuts the window. Now, let’s get to the “food”. I ordered a Big Mac, 10pc nuggets, McChicken & McDouble, and some drinks, for a group of 3 people. I didn’t receive the nuggets at all, every drink was Coke, even though no coke was ordered, and even though ALL of that could be looked past, the Big Mac was made with an OLD SAUSAGE PATTY!! I mean, come on, this is ridiculous for multiple reasons. One, there was no line, and making a hamburger patty doesn’t take very long. Second, who knows how long that sausage patty sat around, at what point are we dealing with potential health risks. I paid for a hamburger, I think getting a hamburger isn’t an unreasonable expectation. Also, when I tried to call this store, maybe 5 minutes after leaving, the phone just rings and rings with no answer. This was all before 9pm, no where near closing time so I’m confused as to why my order couldn’t be made right or even fulfilled properly. I live down the street from this McDonald's. I rather drive to the McDonald's 5 mins further. Just because this one is the worst service every time I go. The last 10-15 times was so terrible. The only reason why we keep going to this one is because it on the way to the interstate. It not if we have extra time we go drive to the other best closest. I have tried calling their direct phone number of location. Never once can I ever get a hold of anyone. They say on their new menu they serve breakfast all day on the menu when they don't. Even on their app it says they also do as well. Also if you get the 10 piece nugget. It $4.50 even you might as well spend 50 cent more to get a 20 piece mcnugget. What a rip off. The other McDonald's 5 min further don't be scamming people. Also drive thru is always long. Be prepared to be waiting in line for at least 10 mins all though the day. You might as well go inside it will be faster. Lastly food is always cold when you do get it. They supposedly renovated the drive thru recently and honestly it only cosmetic appeal is nicer. But for the service nothing has changed. It only getting worst. They need a new management team and all new training at this location. By far the worst McDonald's we ever been to just because it not happening just once. It happen every time we go to this location all different time...
