Knuckleheads Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Louisiana

Well let me tell you about knuckleheads I’m from out of town Guntersville Alabama and I have been calling for the last 45 minutes to different taverns restaurants to see if they serve crawfish. I called knuckleheads and talk to Lana sweet as she could be she said they didn’t serve them until three more weeks or just before lent she said however tried these two restaurants when was Smitty’s and the other was the harbor. I called Smitty’s and sure enough they serve crawfish. Lana was the first one to help and out of town guests define what he was looking for in crawfish. Thank you so much Miss Lana We need more people like yourself who want to help people who are from out of town and do not know the area and you are an asset to knuckleheads into the general population to call you once...

Place is well appointed. Walls lined with TV all showing the same channel. I only saw one wait staff and she was very busy, but remained friendly. We gave her slack for that, I ordered rib eye, rare. My husband ordered hamburger rare. My steak was medium, tough, flat tasting. Side salad was hohum. The lettuce, etc was not cold, more like room temperature, lots of croutons, all of it stale. My husband always eat the croutons off my salad, but this time he ate 2 pieces and gave up. The mashed potatoes are not well seasoned either. I ask my husband about his hamburger, he said it's flat tasting and not cooked rare as he ordered. Mind you, we did not discuss how our food was until we're done eating cause I don't want to influence my husband. He was very disappointed and will not...

Great atmosphere. The courtyard is of a French quarter feel but in Metairie. Laid back. Great waitress. Very attentive. Good burgers. And fries. Not great burgers and fries. I can make better at home but the point of going out is to get out and relax. Personally for the quality of burgers and fries the price is way too much. Knuckleheads. Not just for knuckleheads. Personally I don't like the name. Nor do I like the high tables. The chairs inside are not very comfortable. But it's a nice place to meet up with friends and hangout for a few. Don't recommend buying the food. But at least they had a great waitress. If I'm paying twelve bucks for a burger I want a quality burger. The waitress deserved the money we paid for...
