I have waited for fast food for 30+ minutes before, received less than ideal service, but have never left a bad review because it is fast food and it is what it is. However, the manager on staff for late nights at this location was so overly rude I had to leave a bad review. Here is how the interaction went:
I pulled up to the drive thru to place a simple order with my girlfriend with a MINOR modification. The manager asks if we had a mobile order, I said no, then she mumbles something neither of us could understand. I ask if she said she’s ready for the order or if she asked to wait one minute. She replies, “I JUST TOLD YOU TO WAIT DIDN’T I?😡”… whenever she was ready I asked for a mcchicken meal with American cheese, no mayo, and a Diet Coke. Once again, she chimed in with a condescending tone with something along the lines of: “you’re not giving me a real order, that doesn’t exist.” I ask if they offer a mcchicken or no and she once again condescendingly says yes but not a meal so make the order right. I do so once again laying it out exactly how it would come as a meal: sandwich, fries, drink. God forbid I asked for cheese and no mayo on it, she did not like that.
After the order was complete I pulled around to pay for it and could tell the same older woman taking the order was the same one taking the payment on the first window. I pulled up and she stuck the card machine out for me to put it in myself without making eye contact.
I pulled up to the next window to get the food and after I got it I asked to speak to the manager. Lo and behold the manager walks up and it was the same older lady we had problems with. I told her she’s seriously lacking in her customer service and needs to do better because that was ridiculous and she was rude for no reason. She said she’s like that with everyone so she wasn’t rude. If she’s like that with everyone then I guarantee your location doesn’t have many returning customers because that was awful.
To this location’s franchise owner: I see that my complaint against this lady isn’t the only one and that it’s a recurring problem. If this woman is in a management position, her terrible customer service will reflect on the rest of the employees and your location will suffer. Please address your consumer’s feedback on this issue.
Lastly, my girlfriend’s sandwich came with extra mayo when I asked for no mayo, which seems was done out of spite...
Read moreToday 06/17/18, I was at a McDonald's on Burbank and bluebonnet, baton rouge Louisiana. I normally don't eat anything from McDonald's because I have food allergys, but today I was treating my little girl, who doesn't have allergys. I had brought her to get some ice cream. As I pulled up to order I heard nothing and the screen looked broken and turned off. I said hello, and patiently waited. I heard nothing. Other customers had still pulled ahead, so after about 5 minutes of waiting, I presumed they were ordering at the window.
The line was long, and the little girl in the back seat was antsy for her ice cream. I finally reached the 2nd window, and explained that no one took my order at the menu board. The girl seemed young, 18-20 maybe, she had dark skin and crazy curls. She left to tell another lady, her manager I believe, what happened. The second lady appeared, short, older, maybe 30, she was of Asian descent. She stood about 4 feet in from the window and scream at me "what do you want!?" I was shocked at her brash behavior, I said "no one took my order" as calmly as I could after being screamed at. "I told you just a minute!" And she walked away and yelled to the younger girl "take her order!" Customers at the counter could see me in the drive through and looked at me shocked. I reciprocated the same wide-eyed look. The younger girl came and took my order of an ice cream and a cookie and we were on our way at 7:25.
I didn't yell back, I didn't get overly upset. I wasn't rasied that way and I will not raise my daughter that way. I've worked in customer service my entire adult life and was appalled at how I was treated. The older lady might have been stressed out, or maybe they were understaffed. Thats no excuse to act that way. You DO NOT yell at a customer. We will NEVER go back to McDonald's for ice cream, or...
Read moreTonight was my last time coming to this McDonalds. We ordered our food and when we got to the window we were asked to pull forward while our order was made. After waiting about 12 minutes the lady brought our food out with only half our order, but she was friendly and brought the other half out in a timely manner however when I checked the first half of the order the quarter pounder was cold when I bit into it which I could not understand because we had to wait for the food to be prepared...so anyway I asked the lady to remake the order for me and the brings me the burger back with the bit into bun that I sent back into the store. Furious at this point I drove around and saw a manager outside told her the situation and she apologized and took the burger threw it away and remade it. However I threw the burger away. Because while I was inside the store waiting I could hear who I assumed to be the original maker of the sandwich fussing and complaining about "oh what does she want from me, I remade this omg what the hell does she want..& I could swear I heard her say to drop my bun" so with all that said I'm just done with this McDonalds. I know she probably talked bad about me when I left but I don't care. Like the young lady was saying earlier if you make it right the first time you wont have to remake it. But I threw away the sandwich because I just didnt trust that it was...
