Newk's Eatery — Restaurant in Louisiana

Visited Newk’s Eatery on Corporate Blvd, and the spot greeted us with cleanliness upon entry. The well-lit menu made our ordering experience a breeze, with an enthusiastic cashier promptly taking our order. Although initially intended for takeout, we opted to dine in, and the staff efficiently guided us to a table where our food would be delivered promptly – in less than 20 minutes.

The freshness of the salad's lettuce and the overall goodness of the sandwich left a positive impression. However, the only hiccup was the slightly overripe avocado on the sandwich, likely due to pre-cutting and container storage. Despite this, it was still palatable, but I'll make a note to request fresh avocado next time.

Scroll down and you will see a review for the worst sandwich I could have ever eaten. BIG GOOF UP! I was not aware of the fact that Starbucks adjoins Newk's eatery. Nothing on drive thru indicated it was Newk's OR Starbucks. I reviewed a VERY BAD SANDWICH and thought I went thru drive thru at Newks. I DID NOT!!!

The Starbucks drive thru begins right back of Newk's, and with the landscaping, I thought I was getting a sandwich from them. The horrible sandwich was from Starbucks.

My sincere apologies to the owner of Newk's.

I will now post on Stabucks which is where the Thanksgiving turkey and dressing pannini actually came from. I say Thanksgiving, only because it tasted that old.

Excellent dining experience. I got my favorite meal, the half avocado turkey sandwich with a bowl of fruit and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The sandwich: the bread was toasted perfectly, there was plenty of avocado, and the greens were crisp. The fresh fruit: nice sized portion with a mixture of pineapple, cantaloupe, grapes, and strawberries. Service: speedy, friendly, and very accommodating (the server fetched me a cup lid when I asked where they were located). Bonuses: the drink station with complementary refills, the rewards program which allows you to earn free food (my drink was free today), and the free large reusable plastic cup you get (I look forward to the newest design when I eat here and I like the large size because I'm a big drinker & I always bring a drink...
