Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Louisiana

This was the worst experience I've had at this outback. And it was valentine's day. We were seated in a timely manner. Our waiter took our drink and food order timely. Then everything fell apart. We got our bread, then our appetizer and next our salads, all before we ever got any drinks. I think a floor manager noticed and came and asked us what drinks we ordered and she went to get them. When we FINALLY got our entrees, the food was luke warm. I never send food back to a kitchen, so we eat what we could manage. Now at this point, we had only talked to our waiter during the initial order of our food. There were multiple others bringing things out to the tables, which we noticed EVERY ORDER was brought to the wrong tables including drinks. They ran around like no one knew where anything went. It was really bad. We finally received a visit from our waiter, who we told to get us our dessert to go and our check. We still left a tip but they honestly did not deserve any. This was a huge disappointment for our valentine's day dinner. With that being said, I have no recommendations about anything at this point. Maybe it was an off night. Maybe not. Dined in with my family on March 30, 2021. We arrived at 7:00 pm and had a 1 hour wait to be seated and at least a 45 minute wait to have our order taken. We placed our drink order and waited another 20 minutes to be served our drinks only to be served without straws. It took ten minutes to receive the straws. The waitress then brought the brown bread to the table with one knife. At this point we had no utensils and no plates. We had to ask for utensils and plates. The service was horrible. The waitress brought us PLASTIC UTENSILS, yes I’ll say it again PLASTIC UTENSILS. LOL I’m not even surprised. I suddenly remember why I stopped coming to this place. Next we receive the Aussie Fries cold. They were hardened like they had been sitting under a heat lamp and they were so dried up they were horrible. We waited at least 30 more minutes to receive our entree’s. I’m very disappointed with OUTBACK and I will never dine here again or recommend this restaurant to anyone. Lucia was our server. She kept trying to rush my families food order. We just ordered appetizers and she started asking are y'all ready to order.. we told her no we wanna get and eat our appetizers first. She brought us out dirty plates after waiting about 10 minutes for the dirty plates, we waited another 5 for cleaner plates, we kept having to stop her and ask for our drinks to be refilled and to get her to finally take our order. I ordered a burger well done.. suprise suprise my burger was wrong.. I flag her down she never came back to ask how our food was to let her my burger wasn't how I'd asked. The kitchen just precooked the burger that sent out.. I knew it was the same one it had my bite marks in it still and the same cheese.. the were gracious enough to give me a new bun. I left a note on the receipt and her tip. I would never step foot in there again.
