I am a 64 year old unwell woman with both physical and mental conditions and me and my son got treated just deplorably yesterday at this Panera Bread location. I don't want to say all details but all because I complained about my Cappuccino coffee being made just terrible, this worker with a very bad attitude towards me acts very put out that she had to remake my coffee. And she remakes my coffee so boiling that it burnt the inside of my mouth. My son goes up to tell them and this other older woman worker makes a very hurtful, uncalled for remark he overheard. She declares to the other worker "They do this every time they come here" and the thing is that was only our 2nd visit at that Panera Bread. They don't know how to properly make a Cappuccino and they put way to much milk for the coffee to taste good and with no foam or barely any foam. So then my son goes to complain the the manager and the manager comes over to talk with us. Well, to make a long story short the manager comes back over after some minutes and treats us just atrociously telling us we had to leave. And I asked if I could use the restroom and she says no. And I tell her I have overactive bladder and she still says no that I can't go use the restroom that we had to leave then and there. I sit here feeling all the tremendous mental hurt from this terrible treatment by this manager and her 2 workers. This is one of the worst people experiences we've ever had and we've had tons of them. Both me and my son have been terribly upset by the demeaning way we were treated. We feel like we were treated very differentially not to mention discriminatory. We are thinking we should no longer go to any more coffee shops or restaurants because most every time we do, we get treated badly. Then to top all the unpleasantness off, in the bathroom I was telling this woman a little about it and she having no compassion or sympathy at all, looks at me like I'm "crazy" and goes out the door fakely saying "Have...
Read moreI will be going back for a refund as they did not include chicken on my salad. The particular salad I ordered is a fuji apple chicken salad.
After I get a refund I will be asking the manager for the number for someone at corporate and letting her know that I will not come back. I will also be letting corporate know that I will not be back at this particular location.
Very very bad experience, this follows a previous visit last last weekend where they didn't include pecans even though I'd asked for extra pecans.
So far the track record here is looking bad for them, and I refuse to be that customer that waits patiently for them to get their act together.
The more I think about this experience the more disappointed I become.
I really try to be understanding but I'm just so tired of bad experiences at restaurants.
Sunday 07/28/2019 marked yet another dismal salad from this location. The fuji apple chicken salad is my favorite salad. This location seems to think that me paying more for extra pecans, avocado (doesn't come on this salad so it's already an extra charge) and chicken means absolutely nothing. I had to ask fir more pecans, when I ate the salad yesterday, I noticed the chicken seemed like the normal amount for this salad. Also, whatever green leafy things they put in my salad were nasty. All in all a terrible salad.
Wendys has better salads then Panera, I'll just go there...
Read morePanera Bread has a nice variety of fairly healthy eating choices. Their menu changes a couple of times per year, so don't get used to one item. If you order a drink, you can select from an assortment of pastries for 99 cents. Atmosphere is pleasant and not too loud or noisy. The floor and interior surfaces were clean and well kept. The last time I was there some of the seat cushions were ripped or torn making the restaurant look older than it is. I have been there several times and I find the staff I interacted with to be very polite and friendly. At times, it does get crowded, but I have not had any issues finding a place to sit. They also offer outdoor seating on the Veterans side with umbrellas for shade. Seats along the wall had outlets for phone chargers and they do offer free wifi. Panera Bread serves Pepsi products with 3 or 4 flavored tea combinations with a self service drink machine. Bathrooms were clean and free of trash. The rewards system for frequent guests is not easy to understand. Of the several times I have used my rewards card, I have not received anything, so I am not sure how many times you need to go or what you do get...
