My 2-star review is going to be based off of my experience this morning. Letâs start by stating that I live nearby and frequent this location, but I normally go through the drive through.
This morning I decided to take my 80 year old mother-in-law for breakfast after being released from the hospital due to a stroke. She loves Puccinoâs breakfast and we often take her to the location in Harahan since she lives near that one. She orders the same breakfast every time!
Well, this morning we place our order and find our seats. Once our breakfast arrives, I immediately notice it didnât come with a croissant. I kindly ask the lady who worked the kitchen (she also brought our food out) if the omelette came with a croissant and she proceeded to tell me it didnât. So, I ask if there is anyway we could order one and I can just pay the differenceâŚwell this upset her tremendously and I was met with an extremely rude âYou need to tell them when you orderââŚ
So, I make my way to the counter to order and pay for a croissant. The ENTIRE time she is loudly complaining that âshe said she didnât know it didnât come with a croissant. She knew it came with a croissant!â This woman continued to complain about me to her co-workers the entire time I was at the register. I believe at one point she referred to me as stupid. And let me say the ENTIRE shop could hear her. Thatâs how loud she was.
Needless to say, I could see she was on TikTok streaming a live video from the kitchen. Very unprofessional.
I managed the #1 grossing PJâs in the CBD when I was in college and let me just say that the owner would have fired someone for what this woman did today. It was completely unacceptable. Over a croissant?!
From now on, I will be sticking to the Harahan location if I want to go inside for a meal. They are so kind and overly...
Read moreThis place is the WORST place i have ordered from in Metairie. No one speaks good English. Before today, i have had issues where i would get the wrong order because of their bad understanding. There is a blond haired lady that is normally in the drive up, I think her name may be Olga. She is the rudest person in the store. She never smiles and has bad understanding. Now to get to why i am here.... Today i called and ordered a Turkey Bacon Wrap with fries. Mind you they asked which side i wanted and i told them fries. So when i get there, the nasty blond haired lady is in the window. She hands me a smaller box than normal so i look inside. There is the wrap with about 5 chips. I look up at the window to say something, there she is hanging out the window trying to tell me there aren't any fries. Why didn't she tell me that when i called, is what i am thinking. By me already have bad dealing with this lady as far as her nastiness, i tell her to keep the order and refund my money. I am not paying full price for a half order. THE NASTY BLOND HAIRED LADY THEN TELLS ME THAT SHE CANNOT GIVE ME A REFUND. WHAT PLACE OF BUSINESS DOES NOT GIVE REFUNDS?!? So against my wishes, i had to take the food that all of the ladies in the window breathed on, with chips that they probably used their hands to put on the plate. I LOVED PUCCINOS BEFORE BUT WILL NEVER GIVE ANOTHER DIME, AND I PROMISE TO LET EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THEM AND THEIR SERVICE. Ohhh, and also no one at the store knows a corporate number, go figure. Shut this...
Read moreHad been meaning to take my lovely love wife here on our day off. Had it before at another location and absolutely loved the food and drinks.
Oh boy.
We walk in and everything appears fine. Employees are working behind the counter and customers are seated. Nice atmosphere. That mood was short-lived.
The moment she walked up looking at the biscuits, the woman behind the counter yelled "THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED!" before she could even place an order. Having worked in fast-food and retail, I sympathize when items are out. It's beyond your control. Any reasonable person knows that. But there is a better way of telling us that.
That should have been our cue to leave. But we stayed. She ordered a croissant and a cappuccino, and I ordered a frozen puccino. We paid and waited. She got her croissant and I got my drink. She never got her cappuccino.
The woman behind the counter didn't include it in the order. Had already opted for no receipt before this. So for all I know I paid for the cappuccino, and they didn't bother to make it. Who knows. No apology for the mishap whatsoever.
So we ordered a cappuccino. Again. Paid for it and got it this time.
As we sat there sipping on our drinks, all we could hear were the staffers loudly and openly complaining about employees who didn't show up, how they deserved a day off and how they didn't want to be there.
I actually loved my frozen puccino. But seeing and listening to all that isn't worth it. Never again. Not the Puccino's in Old Metairie, that's...
