THEY STOLE MY MONEY TO GET A TIP! Check your receipt! They added a tip to my charge that I didn't authorize. The computer said one price, but when I tapped to pay, it charged more than what was on the computer. When I looked at my receipt, it charged a 15% tip. I never touched the screen, I tapped to pay. How else did the 15% tip get added? The manager was upset that I asked for my money back and said that they don't refund "tips," I told her it wasn't a tip, it was an unauthorized charge, you basically stole my money by adding the tip. They got upset with me for wanting my money back and threatened to call the police because I got loud, but only after they got loud with me and said "can't believe you're acting like that over $2.00." It was a little more than $2.00, but the frustration was that I didn't authorize the charge, it seemes like it was very much purposefully charged and they were refusing to refund it and made me look like the problem because I wanted my money back. The manager even tried to say she wouldn't give me my money because I "maybe accidentally" added a "tip." How does anyone "accidentally" add a "tip," a "gratuity (an intentional and voluntary act of thanks)?" I never touched any screen, I tapped to pay by hovering my card over the screen. Where do you steal someone's money and then threaten to call the police on them for asking for the return of their money. Why would you even charge a tip before I receive service? Everytime I go to this location (Terry Parkway in Gretna) the associate by the name of DERRICK is ALWAYS mean and rude have an attitude with each and every customer I’ve seen him interact with. When I asked him a question he completely ignored me!!! I will never go to this establishment again and he should really be fired for the way he treats loyal customers!!!!!!!!!
