My guest and I decided to dine somewhere we hadn’t before on the westbank. Well yesterday evening was pouring down. We geared up and made the trip anyway. I believe the rain was telling me to stay home. I’ll get straight to the point. The Crab Rangoon appetizer was store bought heat and serve type. My entrée was the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and chicken, hence shrimp and chicken being a small part of the dish. I had two shrimp and maybe 5 Small pieces of chicken, but I guess it was the pineapple fried rice. And as far as the service goes the young lady, that seated and waited on us just always seemed to be in a rush to do something , not welcoming, almost cold. My thoughts on the dining area of restaurant they were quaint with some relaxing chime type music, but seating was very limited and if you had looked in any direction it seemed to me that was somebody looking straight at you while you were eating. My overall thoughts is that Jasmine Rice Thai cuisine should be a food truck. In this review may seem harsh, but if you’re doing your job to higher standard and I dine there, you’re probably will never ever get a review from me because you’re doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing My train of thought is instead of looking at positive reviews is to try looking at the negative reviews it’s easy to tell the real negatives from the fake positives So Jasmine rice...
Read moreReally enjoyed this place! We've been to Banana Blossum before and they just didn't hit the mark, so I looked at reviews online and found this place. We ordered pad thai, spring rolls, and egg rolls for takeout. The shrimp & pork egg rolls were so good, probably the best eggrolls we've ever had. The chicken pad thai was delicious and spicy (I did ask for it to be level 3), came with a large portion! The spring rolls were okay- they were fresh, but no protein so it tasted pretty bland. We wouldn't get the spring rolls again for the price. We will definitely be back for the pad thai and egg rolls, we'll be venturing out and trying other items too because I'm sure they're great! Oh also great pricing, didn't cost me an...
Read moreI give this place 3 stars because their fried houdevours were outstanding. The crab Rangoon was the best I have ever had. Period. My main course, however, was almost disgusting. I'm sure it was prepared correctly & tasted fine for anyone who likes Tai food, but for me a had to force myself to eat some of it because I was really hungry. I gave the waitress a really phat tip, not because of any exceedingly godd service (it was fine) but only because I can down with an unexpected, accute case of yellow fever. If I ever go back, I'll just for a bucket of the fried stuff that will probably cost me around $100. Overall, if u like Tai food try it. If you...
