The people who work at this location are always friendly. My order is always delicious nomatter who makes it. Some of them really go above and beyond. I can't speak for all, but like I said, I have never had a problem.
On this visit, I ordered the Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha with cold foam instead of whip cream. I wanted the peppermint cold foam, but they said they didn't have an ingredient that made that cold foam, and she offered something else, but I just took regular cold foam. I also tried the Grill cheese for the first time, and it was good. I dont think it was heated all the way, or I just missed it when it was put down because I was talking to the lady about my drink and my free holiday cup. Will I get it again? Yes, I will because I want to be able to give it a go or no go from my perspective. By the way, it was recommended by another customer, and let's just say she made me buy it. 😆 I want to say thank you to her whoever she is because I never knew they had a grill cheese, and I wasn't supposed to be getting any of that that day. I already had a smoothie for breakfast. 🤫
So let me explain the grill cheese. By the time I got my drink and made it to the parking lot and in my car, the bread was kind tough and hard, and the cheese definitely wasn't gooey. It was still delicious and edible. I didn't think about bringing it back, which I should have to ask them if it was supposed to be like it was, but I didn't. Read moreI gave these ladies a chance . I left the store and called , asked to speak to manager on duty! I had no chance! From my receiving end the response I got was , if I didn't want the respodent's help I was just going to have to keep calling because the manager was in the store , but was conducting interviews. Unfortunately the person that answered the phone was the one that made my drink. In other words the only choice was to complain to her about her behavior.. i had been driving from California to luisiana and stopped here to grab an americano. I had just one request, steamed cream on the side . There was a bit of slow walking going on in the store . The one person making the drinks had quite a deflated attitude!! I refused to take my now warm americano since the milk just wasn't ready . Asked if I wanted the drink remade I said Yes. Welp. This time the drink came , the cream was poured in there and it was shoved onto the counter ready to go . I asked for raw sugar and grabbed my " stuff " my drink wasn't what I ordered for , the barrista 's behavior was abrasive i was so uncomfortable that this behavior was deliberate ! Read moreI am just done with this franchise in its entirety. It’s my fault for returning after too many bad attitudes at this location. I always having AMAZING customer service at the starbucks on barataria so i can’t understand why this location (ELMWOOD) always has an attitude and a way of talking down to a paying client. So the mobile app has had its improvements and lets u know when your order will be ready for pickup. Fine, totally i can wait even if its longer BUT for you to tell me at the drive thru intercome that next time give THEM a 10-15 min heads up when my app says 5-8 min and theres literally ONE car ahead of me. NO, that’s unacceptable. Theres also 2 cars in their parking lot. You could have said it in a nicer way, oh theres gonna be a delay.
