Its a shame that I have to keep giving bad reviews for food but here we go… I been here twice wit mobile orders for a family box of 10pc and 2 sides. Both times I have gotten there almost 20-30 minutes after ordering it and it never fails they always pulling everyone up. I live in Avondale and if I order it 20-30 before and I’m always still being pulled up for chicken to wait almost another 30-45 minutes. It’s ridiculous. The last time I asked the boy at the window what am I being pulled up he literally shrugged his shoulders and said idk then closed the window on me. At this point I’m not understanding what do they do all day if both times I been they never have my order ready. I understand the food business because I use to work for one … and trying to cut down on food cost I understand this too… but come on almost over a hour and a half for chicken I could have went somewhere else and got better service and better food. Not to mention the second time the entire order was wrong. I’m seriously about to stop eating out all together. I definitely will not be back. It’s already too expensive to eat out as it is why in the world would I go back to a place where even the boy who is serving me doesn’t even know why he is pulling me up? I know it’s hard to find good workers anymore because of the wage and a lot of ppl don’t want to work fast food because of the quality of the ppl but come on yall!!! We got to get...
Read moreSince the pandemic Popeyes has continued to fail miserably in the manner they service customers. I’ve placed an order online and arrived to a closed Popeyes. Today, I arrive to this particular Popeyes after 2pm, well after peek lunch hours. The line was still down the building almost into the street. I noticed there was a sign on the door to call if you are picking up an online order. Sign stated to call and someone will bring you your order. So I call, speak to a fairly nice woman and she said she will bring it out to me once ready. Not a minute later, someone comes to the door to tell me they don’t have anyone to bring the order to the door, so we have to stay in the drive through. I angrily get back in my car that my husband had parked, thankfully the person behind us hadn’t pulled all the way up yet. So, here I sit, still waiting to even get to the speaker box to let them know I’m here to pick up an online order. I honestly won’t be surprised if I’m told to “pull up, we’re still getting your order together. Someone will be right out to bring it to you” ugh!! I mean sure, there are some things I’m willing to tolerate. And Popeyes is dam good chicken. But get your stuff together people!! So many other fast food restaurants have adapted beautifully to the current atmosphere with the pandemic. After almost two years, you’re think Popeyes would have...
Read more3-4-25 Update: I have yet to go to any Popeye's anywhere since the original issues have be done 12 months ago. No one from that particular store has reached out with their solutions nor from corporate. All they offered was Sorry and a $5 limited coupon.. And judging from recent reviews, it hasn't gotten any better. The Boycott continues until Pompey's fixes their problems.
While the food is typical Popeye's, The service is Terrible. I pre-ordered some Chicken at 6pm to be ready for 7pm through there online site. The Payment went through and I got the confirmation Email. When my girlfriend went to pick it up, It wasn't even ready. She waited almost an hour after it was supposed to be ready for pick up. This made us decide to go to a more reliable competitor for our Fried Chicken Needs. I have lodged a complaint with corporate. I encourage everyone else to do the same.
This Popeyes get an F.
Update 3/13/24 I filed a complaint with Popeyes Corporate and their replies were basically Canned Response at first. After some back and forth, they said they would inform me of their actions.
Until this store changes its ways of indifference to the consumers, I will no longer buy their products from any of their restaurants. I suggest anyone that reads this and agrees to...
