I was in town visiting family and wanted to catch a quick bite before flying out. We figured Chickfila is a great choice since it will be quick, great food, great customer service, and they haven’t failed me, until now. My flight was at 9:30 and we were already running late and came in to order our Chickfila order around 8:15 (I want to say it was 8:12, but I unfortunately threw away my receipt since I was in a rush). We ordered a #3 8-piece chicken nugget combo with a sweet tea and a spicy chicken sandwich. After that, we sat down and waited and then I noticed that people who ordered after us were getting their orders before us. I was curious of what the hold up was, so I came up to the counter with my receipt waited to get someone’s attention. It looked like there were at least 3 in the back, 4 working the drive thru, and 2 in the front taking order. I made eye contact with a worker working the drive thru but he didn’t acknowledge that I was needing some assistance. I noticed my tray that literally had my food ready. I was so tempted to walk behind the counter to just grab it and sit down. Then, I finally managed to get someone’s attention, Joselyn, looks like she was delivering orders to the table. I mentioned that we have been waiting for a good while and all of the people before us already got their food. She says “oh yeah” and turns around grabs the tray that I already know that it’s mine and I paid for, hands it to me and proceeds to say “we were holding onto the spicy chicken sandwiches.” I was upset that she did not gave an apology and the situation was dealt very poorly. We sat down ate my food at 8:25. I waited 20 minutes to get food. I decided to dine in too. If I knew it was a 20 min wait, I would’ve went through the drive thru. At least I know there are people. Chances of not forgetting a customers order would be better. Once I sat down, did not feeling like eating. I lost my appetite, and I did not finish my food. I’m not sure if it was from that interaction, but my food was not as great as it usually is, some chicken nuggets were dry, and the chicken sandwich my boyfriend had to drench it in sauce to make it better. After we finished, we cleaned the table and while putting away the tray, I noticed there were a LOT of unopened sauces at some tables, some tables were not cleaned. I was shocked because there were plenty of people working, yet no one wanted to clean tables and collect unopened sauces? There were not a lot of people since it was after the dinner rush. Again, I was upset that I threw away my receipt since I believe this should be addressed. I have never been irritated and more importantly disappointed at Chickfila, especially at this location by the airport. From customer service to the cleanliness of the restaurant to the expectation of Chickfila quality food, 10/10 would not...
Read moreThey can’t acommodate dietary restrictions Even if you get sick , I was told it’s the only location that can’t in Louisiana
I waited in line like usual on these locations about 15 -20 mins I ordered a Cobb salad with no bacon And I was told this is the only location in Louisiana that cannot accommodate a taking bacon off a salad While I understand when these things happen sometimes ,
I order the same salad in metairie , kenner , Baton Rouge , Lafayette any Chick-fil-A I have found in the us has accommodated that for me , and all I have been in are able to acommodate that for me or others .
I can’t eat bacon for health purposes I haven’t eaten pork in years so if I eat any I get sick , So it’s not by choice I just can’t have it anymore my body just doesn’t accept it .
Now others for religion purposes , allergies or just health purposes After standing in line and couldn’t go anywere to get out and leave , I drove from harahan to kenner And I was accommodated inmediately I asked them if it was normal and they were in disbelief one location couldn’t offer this So kuddos to kenner I will drive there and metairie just cause they are always on point
If this is the case in harahan , to avoid someone being in line It can be added on the sign before getting on the drive through lanes so customers are aware of this ,
this is the only Chick-fil-A location that can’t accommodate substitutions for you , just leave
But it was disappointing being told YES WE ARE THE ONLY LOCATION that can’t help you , sorry , have a good day . I think it can be improved I never ever have issues in any Chick-fil-A ever wich is why I am a customer , always on point
Attached is a picture of the drive through in kenner not harahan , that accommodated my need and I left a happy customer as always in any Chick-fil-A Congrats to...
Read moreIf God Almighty had a favorite stop for chicken then this would be the place. Such a kind, friendly, professional staff. These people actually listen when you order. Unlike others in the other when you place the order they are very attentive and unbelievably comprehending to the words coming from your mouth. Whenever I get to the window they arent staring off to the side of the register on their phone, they aren't playing around with the staff that should be preparing your food, they aren't showing signs of being annoyed because your there to place an order and ask for condiments, they aren't staring you down for asking for napkins like its a payroll deduction straight from their check and they sure as heck aren't forgetting the straws for your drinks and then mumbling under their breath as if its your fault that they weren't being attentive to the order as they bag it. I don't gamble a lot but if I were to I'd bet money that this may be the very reason why their lines are long and the place is always busy. They seem appreciative that out of all places you could possibly decide to fight with the staff at the window to get the very meal you ordered the first time, you chose them. Huge applause to this place of business and the fine folks that work here. Very clean atmosphere, like I said in the beginning of this review, if God Almighty had a favorite stop for chicken this would be it. Its worth the wait in line or even better, park and go inside. There's always a friendly face to greet you and take care of your order...
