Taqueria La Conquistadora — Restaurant in Louisiana

Story time, okay so I’m not from this side of the river so I’m unfamiliar with taco stand on the westbank. I’ve been going to the same taco truck on the East bank for years regardless of where I live, yes I love tacos that much. Btw, so I asked around at work local taco lovers etc and a few places came up that I often pass and I also expressed that finding a taco place I like closer to where I live is important to me right now with everything being so high I have to save on gas, now back to this taco stand. I decided to go to this one since it seems authentic and had some pretty good reviews when asking people how the food was. First experience there I ordered my food and yes I am a person whom repeats my order and I’m very nice because your making my food and I don’t want you to mishandle my food okay now let’s move on. I got the food and it was wrong, I didn’t get upset I just informed the lady that it was wrong. Now why did I do this, this lady then started speaking Spanish fussing in Spanish talking to a lady next to me in line and the workers inside the stand. So the guy that was behind her was just smiling and looking like I understand I’m fixing your order which he was and she went on and on lol fast forward I got my food how I like it and it was good. So later that night I told my husband about the taco stand so he went to get us a few more tacos and the same thing happened to him so we both gave the them another chance because we all have bad days. Why today was the day I went back Instead of just going to my usual taco truck . So this time the same lady took my order and wrote on her pad in front of my face “NO FRESH ONIONS” guess who order was wrong and had to give it back mines lol and this time she mumbled and said something to the younger ladies in there then the young girl threw the food to me and I just walked to my car and threw the food in the trash once I got home because it was full of grease and not prepare genuinely. Idc how good your food is we all work very hard for our money and we all deserve to be treated with respect because just like now I will go spend my money where the food is good and the customer service is even better! Go train at Chick-fil-A then reopen...

do not judge a book by it's cover. yeah, it's not pretty, but the food is first rate, fresh and fast. there's that meme about you can tell which place has the best donuts by all the cop cars out front because they know....well here be all the Latino's...you feel me? the salsa is also actually spicy...not too hot...but very good especially the green. I'm from Texas i know what i'm talking about. There's no dine in...the have a counter...but it's just too hot to sit there...get it to go with a side of avacado and you won't...

I'm on a cross country road trip from Los Angeles and had to stop by a dealership two blocks down. While waiting for my maintenance service, I walked over and ordered some tacos of Carne Asada. Even though I have been exposed to many great delicious varieties of food during my trip, this restaurant made me miss home and that delicious Hispanic food that Los Angeles if known for. Their red salsa is definitely spicy but...
