10/4/24. Cozy little place. Not open like typical Asian restaurants. Hubby ordered #L13 Shrimp Hot Garlic sauce and one Vietnamese coffee. I ordered #N11 Grill over pressed Vermicelli with Nem. Hubby said his dish is alright, just not as good as other places he had before. Mine came out in a humongous serving platter with rice paper to make wraps that is enough for 2. However, they gave me grilled pork instead of grilled nem. Instead of leaving the plate and just grilling me some nem, they took the platter back and said it would be awhile for the grilled nem. Anyway, the platter came out not too long after, and it was delish. I could only eat half and had to take the other haft home. It was raining heavily the whole day so I guess that's why there weren't many people during lunch. Oh, I do not recommend Vietnamese coffee. It tasted too much like powdery/instant coffee with sweetenter milk, unlike typical coffee that is prepared with a coffee fin over a cup of condensed milk and a separate glass of ice. Service could be better as the waiter never checked on us even once if we needed anything. Had to flag him down a few times. Price wise is reasonable for our dishes. We will be back to try other dishes.

Only had their food at weddings and events where they catered so this is my first time dining at the restaurant. Service was excellent!!! Food came out fast and had no issues! Ordered Thai tea, combination pho, lobster tan cang which comes with stir fried noodles and veggies, clay pot fish (ca kho to), and sweet and sour Vietnamese soup (canh chua). Thai tea was sweet but relatively good. Pho was okay…I had better but was still edible. Lobster tan cang was huge and delicious! Had so much on the plate but is not worth the price tag ($99!!). I’m assuming market price must be high when I went. Ca kho to and canh chua were amazinggggg which also comes with rice! I loved the flavors so much!!! The fish in the canh could’ve been better because it tasted weird, but the soup and veggies were fantastic. Overall, I would love to return and try other items! Very extensive menu so I’m sure I’ll find other things I’ll enjoy.

Upon arrival, I plainly ask for chicken fried rice. When one of the workers came out to my to give us our food. She read what was on the ticket, and it said shrimp fried rice. I went back in the restaurant so they could make right. We get home, and both of my egg rolls was so dark, and burnt, and choo choo was burnt as well. When I started eating it, it had some type meat that I can not even begin to identify. I immediately called them, the lady who answered the phone ask if I could bring it back, so they could remake it over. I’m like really, I’m going back, best to believe it want be for another bad taste in my mouth again, I want a refund.

First off, online and in the newspaper it is advertised that August moon delivers on the west bank. When you call, they tell you to download uber eats or waitr app instead- which costs more $$$. But no worries, we order to go/ pickup. I specifically asked if the Singapore noodles had a curry sauce (as described on the website) and got a confirmation. Then asked for hot sauce "the red chili?" No ma'am, the hot mustard well then I get charged for mustard AND red chili. Okay whatever, I'll use it. But the straw that broke the camels back was my dry Singapore noodles with absolutely NO SAUCE. ughhhh. So I call and ask if maybe they forgot and I will come pick up the curry sauce, no big deal. But I get shut down again and it takes two people to argue w me and tell me there's no curry sauce and next time I have to specifically order it... just aggravating when you spend 35$ and the main dish isn't how you wanted it. Probably won't order from here again because of the hassle. Not that they care, clearly. I'll attach the description of the dish here just to prove a point... I mean come on! Just give me my sauce and I'll leave you...

I am unsure why this restaurant receives the popularity it does. My relative was down visiting from out of state and decided he was in the mood to try this place. The egg roll was so big and the inside ingredients were beyond bulky. The waitress took our orders but failed to mention we were ordering multiple entrees per person. Then when the bill came and we were astonished at the astronimical amount she said I asked did you both want two. To which our response was she and the menu was misleading. All our food were unbearably nasty to the point we could only take a couple bites. The toddler plate seems to be the most appetizing until she got home and became sick. The bill came up to $175.00 during 12:00 lunch time. And we were charged the 18% due to the 5th person being a toddler. And we automatically had been charged a 24.00 dollar tip. We paid cash. As we were planning to leave out the staff retreive the cash from the drawer as if we had plans to steal the money back. Good grief its 2024. The food was beyond disgusting. But the service was beyond pathetic and...
