Waffle House — Restaurant in Louisiana

Christain was our waiter. Not a good one. First off, give customers a menu. Not geeser friendly to have to look at a menu on a smart phone. I understand social distancing but he could have come more than 6 feet from the table. As for the food, it was the worse Waffle House food we have ever had. Ham was rubber, toast was not buttered , both my over medium eggs were broke on the grill so no yoke. Never had garlic flavored hash browns till now. I ordered a side of gravy and it was so thick you could slice it. My husband ordered a waffle and was burnt on the outside but still doughy on the inside. Needless to say everything was cold. Hard to imagine since the grill was 15 feet from the table. The floors were filthy, my seat had to be wiped off to sit down and the final kicker was our waiter bussing the booth next to us with a garbage can...

I enjoyed everything, however I don't like the service fee and take out fee. I'm aware some people don't tip that's fine,I don't mine the ripping part, but they would do more work if I was sitting down to eat without an extra fee than taking out. When taking out we avoid taking space from patrons who would like to sit down and eat, so we actually providing extra business. I can order food sit there have the staff serve me and leave with just paying for food and not tip at all. So the take out fee is a but overrated. Service fee not a problem. What we paying for the containers to go? Overall it was good that's just one thing I experienced that we felt was unnecessary fee. The service was horrible just by walking inside. I asked if I could use the restroom last night a server said yes so as I'm walking to the restroom a cook takes his cook Aprin off an blocks me I just assumed he was just joking so I ask excuse me an all he kept saying was no. He was to close to me made me feel very uncomfortable an threatened I'm also pregnant. Not once did he say no because of covid we aren't allowing anyone in the restrooms he just kept saying no rudely. An once I left I called trying to get corporates number no one would answer the phone I called 3 times.
