Bearno's Pizza — Restaurant in Louisville

There were 16 of us from our Condo Association that went to Bearnos Middletown tonight. The address was 13829 English Villa Dr. 40245. I had a Cheese and Ham Pizza on a cauliflower crust. It was very good. It was served good and hot. It’s hard to find a pizza restaurant that makes cauliflower crust pizzas that doesn’t taste like cardboard. I shared a piece with one of my neighbors and she really liked it too and was going to try the cauliflower pizza herself the next time she’s there. My husband had “make your own lasagna” with beef, Italian sausage and extra cheese. He was able to add up to 3 items at no extra charge. It came with garlic bread. He absolutely loved it and ate every bite! It was delivered with steam rolling out. It was a big serving!!

Our receipt didn’t have our server’s name, just Cashier 98. She was precious. I didn’t see anyone send anything back or complain about their order. We all told her she did a great job. She even asked if anyone needed a drink to take with them.

There was another small group there but there was still enough room for all of us. We had plenty of room to enjoy ourselves and we were all able to talk and hear each other. We’ll go back again. It was...

I order a pep / sausage There was soooo much sausage it was ridiculous honestly each square /slice from edge to edge. That I couldn’t enjoy the pizza so that being said. I went up and ordered / and paid for another pizza pep only I told the young man that I couldn’t enjoy my first pizza becouse of the situation. He said a manager would talk to me. Anyhoo my new pizza was purdy good. The manager did come to see me. He said he was too busy to talk. I explained what happened. He said next time make sure I order lite ingredients. REALLY. You think he would of gave me a little discount or say sorry BUT no. His response was. Next time you order make sure you say lite ingredients. OK. .. maybe the pizzeria should tell the customers. Especially when they order sausage. LIKE. Ma’am sir. Did you know we really cover the pizza with sausage like REALLY cover it. Just so you know. ... For MANY years I have loved a good Bearnos pizza and especially like the crispy breadsticks with the sesame and poppy seeds. However, it is difficult to get a consistent product from them. When they are good, they are our favorite. We expect fresh ingredients with a properly crisp not overcooked crust.

Unfortunately, we often have to additionally cook our food once we get it home because of “doughy” and undercooked crust, the breadsticks I love sometimes have barely any “seeds” and sometimes way too many. There are also times our order has been overcooked and dried out.

I’m typically not upset about the inaccuracy with given delivery times but I know to always expect longer than projected. We can obviously buy sub par, less expensive pizza at chain restaurants. We want to support our local businesses. We expect to pay more for a better product and expect the product to be consistent. It’s difficult to pay more for a product that has become like a...
