Carali's Rotisserie Chicken — Restaurant in Louisville

When I walked in, I had to wait a few minutes before anyone came to the front not a big deal, I understand they might’ve been busy. But when someone finally came to take my order, the service felt very dry and almost forced. The woman who helped me gave a faint smile, but there was no warmth behind it. When I asked about the menu items, her responses were very monotone, with no real effort to engage or help me choose.

When it came time to pay, I didn’t realize the card reader wasn’t showing the total, and she didn’t mention it, so I was just standing there awkwardly until I noticed the price myself. Even at the end, when she asked if I wanted a receipt, it was done with the same flat tone.

I’m not expecting over the top friendliness, but a little warmth or basic customer engagement goes a long way especially for a first time customer.

Unfortunately, today’s experience left me disappointed, and I’m not sure I’ll be back...

Listen! Most of these reviews that are one star are not telling the truth. I have come to multiple Caralí locations, and I have yet to be disappointed.

For starters, I need to make this clear, the chicken here is never dry. You always get juicy, flavorful chicken at this restaurant. Other things like the side items and sauces all pair well together in the meal. Besides that, the chicken here is hands down the best in the area.

I would like to note, I understand how the quality of services and meats can be different. But every time I have gone here, these aspects have never changed. We are truly blessed to have a chicken spot of this caliber within...

The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. I orderd 1/4 dark meat pulled, green beans, an cilantro rice. I easily had enough for two meals but the food was so good I ate every bite.
