Caribbean Cafe — Restaurant in Louisville

I don't know what part of the Caribbean they talking about when they say "Caribbean cafe" but they must be on the outskirts. Wasn't nothing "Caribbean" about it. I just wasted $40. They didn't include my drink. I paid $23 for a big to-go plate of dry rice and beans. I mean the plate was FULL!! of just rice and beans. But the kicker is, in this separate container full of whatever tomato based oxtail sauce they conjured up, was only 4 little pieces of oxtails. 4 pieces about the size of a donut hole and the rest of the container full of this light red juice, because it definitely want oxtail gravy. Then the driver had it on his seat tilted, so this red sauce wasted all in the bag all over my plate. A total cost of $40+ just wasted I ended up just throwing the mess away. 1st let me say this was my 1st time ever trying Haitian food so I have nothing to compare Caribbean Cafe to. Before I try any restaurant I read the reviews. Some reviews states that the portions are large. I would have to disagree because I’m a meat eater and the meat portion is extremely small. I ordered the fried goat meal and my husband ordered the oxtail meal. I will include pictures if it allows me to. The food was extremely bland. I had to put the sauce that they gave me with my meal on the rice and beans just for it to have some flavor. They only provide you with one small sauce . The rice and beans is a big portion with a small salad consisting of 10 pieces of lettuce , one tomato slice and a small thing of ranch dressing.
