I recently dined at CM Chicken Prospect, and it was a complete disappointment. I’m genuinely shocked that the CM Chicken franchise would allow this location to carry their name.
When our food arrived, we were missing half of our order, and we never received it. Attempts to explain the issue were lost in the language barrier, as I do not speak Korean.
From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this place does not meet the standards I expect from CM Chicken. The service was slow, inattentive, and extremely disorganized, with no clear process for ordering, leading to confusion among customers.
Typically, I expect to pay at the counter, find a seat, and wait for my food. Instead, we faced long lines and a chaotic atmosphere, with no guidance on how to proceed. After finally placing our order, we sat down and waited forever for water, only to be handed menus afterward—despite already having ordered.
This small location had only two staff members on duty, which contributed to the confusion. It felt like a major oversight in management and organization.
Overall, my experience at CM Chicken Prospect was frustrating and far below the standards I’ve come to expect from the brand. I hope they take steps to improve because this a DISGRACE to the CM Chicken NAME.
We have been to other CM Chicken locations and it was always a very positive experience, if I had come to this location first I would of never returned to CM Chicken. A store like this can ruin and...
Read moreI don't recommend this place based solely on price gouging.
I ordered from the menu a chicken sandwich, $12.99 with a side of fries, $1.99.
The amount of fries I received was similar in size to a standard coffee mug. When I received the bill, the fries ended up being $4.99!!!!! The waitress explained to me that the chicken sandwich was only a 'to go' order and the fries $1.99 price was for 'to go'. NO WHERE ON THE MENU did it say "TO GO ONLY".
I got charged $3 extra dollars unknowingly.
How in the world are frozen tasting fries the size of a coffee mug $4.99? That is way beyond me. Especially if you want to order the Mala fries $8.99. $4 EXTRA DOLLARS of lightly sprinkled seasoning. Granted, I'm not familiar with where this seasoning originates from, but a teaspoon of it is not $4 worth. With a quick google search, you can make mala seasoning with easily obtainable spices.
I understand the world we live in is tough for everyone. But as owners, you NEED to be more transparent on your menu pricing. You need to update your menus properly. Every menu we saw had different stickers with...
Read moreWe recently had an incredible dinner at CM Chicken Norton Commons that I am excited to share! We started with Japchae, which are sweet potato starch noodles stir-fried with veggies and meat. It’s one of Korea’s most popular dishes, and for good reason. It’s a great dish to share, and it’s now one of our favorites too.
We ordered the Japchae without meat so we could also enjoy the Korean fried chicken. I ordeered drumsticks with the Hot Honey sauce. It was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked crispy and juicy, and the Hot Honey sauce added a nice spicy kick. If HOT isn’t your thing, they offer many other flavorful sauces from mild to hot. CM Chicken offers many other dishes worthy of your attention. They also have lunch specials which I plan to try very soon. Check out the attached menus. CM Chicken is delicious Korean Fried Chicken and so much more.
Open 6 days a week. Closed on Mondays. Located next to Karems, in the previous Tea Station Asian Bistro location.
We’ll be back again very soon. I’m craving that Hot Honey Sauce on my CM Chicken super thick crust juicy...
