So I ordered three dies in a shrimp basket they took the bags and I get down the street about two blocks the Salve I want to eat some shrimp on the way where I'm going so I look in my bag not touching food mind you and I see I have a lot more food then I paid for now on the hood side I'm thinking I should do not take this cuz I ain't going to take it back anyway cuz of Kobe and keeping clean and all that stuff but the church boy in me I said now you know you wrong so I turned around in hopes to tell them what happened there was a simple mix-up and to give them their food so when I get back there's a young lady who I will not name very smart outlet to me when I showed her what was wrong as soon as she walks up to the door she says I said are you the one that had the fish basket now let me stop right here and let you know I run my own business I've got guys working for me I've got a lot on my mind I'm not thinking about which baskets she just said I heard your word basket and I said yes while looking at some invoices in my lap so she takes the food back into the store which I'm pretty sure the health department does not light and when she comes out with my food she says here drop sit in my lap and walks out I still haven't got my drink so I just say don't worry about it let it go so I start to eat one of my thighs and I realized this by is severely burnt I'm thinking hey there's a bunch of teenagers probably gave me one of those no big deal so I switch over to the shrimp the shrimp is very burnt I mean very burnt now usually I go there there's a manager named Chris and I have never had this problem with him that guy must check every bag or something when it leaves the store he's the reason I keep coming back but if I don't see him there the next time I'm not even going to...
Read moreI will NEVER go back here! I bought almost $60 worth of food, including a half pint of mac and cheese and two wedges. When I got home I saw that I didn't get my mac and cheese. I called immediately and was told (naturally) that I could come back to get it. I didn't want my food to be cold when I returned, so I was going to eat first. As soon as I hung up, I realized I didn't get my wedges, either. I didn't call back since I was going back anyway in a few minutes & didn't think it'd be a big deal. When I went back, I said I'd rather get a refund since I had already eaten (I wasn't going to just eat mac and cheese and wedges at this point). The (I assume) so-called manager yelled at me, "YOU ONLY SAID YOU DIDN'T GET YOUR MAC AND CHEESE, YOU DIDN'T SAY NOTHING ABOUT NO WEDGES! NEXT TIME...". I cut her off, telling her there won't BE a next time. She finally refunded my money. The guy at the window was very nice & told me to go ahead and take the mac and cheese. I told him I didn't want it because contrary to what alot of people THINK, not EVERYBODY'S trying to get something free!! Most of us simply want what we pay for, without having to make a return trip to get it! If you DO go there and see a heavyset Black woman working, know that she is the epitome of what un-professionalism looks like and has NO place in the customer service business. I'll NEVER go there again because of this experience, and DEFINITELY would not recommend this place (unless you have very low standards of what quality and professional customer...
Read moreThis restaurant has been a staple in this community for a very long time... I thought things may be changing for the good when they built the new facility, but they just hired the same lazy, incompetent, rude and nasty people that they had before... Just different faces... Nevertheless, it is unacceptable to sit in drive-through for 30 minutes to wait to place an order, only to get to the window only to learn that your order was not taken correctly and the item that you wanted is not available... Whoever the management team is for this place, really needs to put their foot in the asses of their team members. This business not only lacks customer service skills, but also quality. You're a chicken restaurant... It's a Sunday... Why don't you have any Wings prepared after 1 p.m.? Fact is, the owners of this business know that they have the market sewed up... You're a chicken restaurant in a predominantly Urban neighborhood; and because Kentucky Fried Chicken is no longer in the neighborhood, Lee's Chicken down the street serves green gizzards, and Popeyes is just a little too far away from any of the community members to actually travel, Indi's is the only option; thus this is their excuse for lack of quality and poor customer service... I personally will not patronize this business anymore until some things have changed drastically. Call me angry, call me bitter, call me whatever you want to call me, but you'll never be able to call me a customer at Indi's on Poplar...
